About the Equestrian & Country template
This equestrian catalog template has the warmth of a family saddlery. Parchment pages, cognac leather tones and hunter green are tied together by a stitch motif, with a bookish serif for headlines and Cabin for text. Seven covers include a Rug Season framed cover and a magazine issue on saddle fitting. Twenty designed pages follow, the contents page lists five departments from Saddlery to Grooming & Stable, and real photography moves between the yard and the field.
Everything is pitched at retail: prices including VAT, free fitting appointments, a rug week sale and a fall fitting clinic, all as sample copy you can rewrite. Bring in saddles, boots and rugs from your store or a CSV; each card shows photo, name, a fitting line, the price with the old price struck through on sale lines, and an Add to basket button. Share it as a retail flipbook where riders check out through Shopify, as a browse-only showcase flipbook, or as a printed catalog for the counter.

Pages worth a closer look

Saddle, bridle and rug size guide
Saddle seat sizes in inches matched to rider height, gullet widths matched to horse type, bridle sizes from pony to full, and rugs in feet and inches. It speaks the language riders use at the yard and helps them order the right size.

Rug Week sale
A two-week sale page with a large percentage off turnout, stable and cooler rugs, a code, the size range and the exclusions. Run it as the weather turns, when riders are checking last winter's rugs.

Featured saddle
A single saddle presented with price, fitting included, a description of seat, flaps and tree, and a spec table for seat sizes, gullet widths and tree type. The same layout works for a pair of tall boots or a jacket.

Fitting clinic invitation
An invitation to a fitting day with free saddle balance checks, calf and foot measuring for tall boots and a rug library to borrow from, plus a discount on anything fitted on the day. Change the services to suit your shop.
What riders want to see in an equestrian catalog
Explain saddle fit before price
A saddle has to fit horse and rider. Give seat size, gullet or tree width, panel type and flocking, and say whether the tree can be adjusted. Offer a fitting service or a trial period where you can, because riders hesitate to buy a saddle they cannot try.
Size rugs the way your market measures
UK rugs are sized in feet and inches and US blankets in inches, both measured from the center of the chest to the tail. List fill weight in grams for each rug, from unfilled sheets to heavyweights, and the outer denier so riders can match a rug to clip and turnout.
Give tall boots calf and height sizes
Riding boots fit by foot size, calf width and height. Show all three, with a note on how to measure the calf over breeches, and mention whether boots come with zips and how much they drop as the leather breaks in.
State the helmet standard and fit
Riders and competition rules look for the safety standard a helmet meets, so list it for each model with sizes by head circumference in centimeters. A short fitting note, snug without pressure points and level above the eyebrows, helps first-time buyers.
Plan the calendar around the seasons
Rug season starts in early fall, show season runs through spring and summer, and the holidays bring gifts for riders. A rug-week sale in the fall, a gift guide for December and a show-season edition in spring cover the main buying moments.

Questions about this template
Can customers buy directly from the equestrian catalog?
Yes, if you sell on Shopify. Share the catalog as a retail flipbook and shoppers check out at your Shopify store. Each link has a QR code for flyers, yard notice boards and the shop counter. Without Shopify, a showcase flipbook lets riders browse the range and contact you.
Can I show prices in pounds or euros instead of dollars?
Yes. Choose from 28 catalog currencies, so a UK saddlery can show pounds with VAT included, as the sample does, and an EU shop can use euros. If you also supply other shops, the Discount & Tax tool handles ex-VAT trade prices and fixed or percentage discounts.
What should an equestrian catalog include?
The departments riders shop: saddlery, boots, rider wear, rugs and grooming, each with clear sizing. Add fitting services, a size guide for saddles, bridles, rugs and helmets, delivery and returns terms, and seasonal offers. Photos of tack on real horses help riders judge color, scale and fit.
Should a saddlery catalog include repair and fitting services?
Yes, if you offer them. Services such as saddle fitting, reflocking, boot measuring and repairs set an independent saddlery apart from online-only sellers, and riders often choose a shop for them. Give each service a short description, the price or a free tag, how to book and any travel radius.
