About this template

About the Black Friday template

This Black Friday catalog template is built like a deal board at midnight: near-black pages, off-white type and one signal red for prices, timers and badges. Tall Oswald capitals stack BLACK over a red FRIDAY on the front cover, above a photo of red-ribboned gift boxes and a row of countdown boxes. Inter carries the body text, a monospaced face handles SKUs and prompts like "> HELLO, SHOPPER_", red corner brackets frame the hero photos, and a red lightning bolt marks the promo and small-print pages.

Use it to put a weekend of deals in one place that shoppers can browse on a phone or pick up at the register. Import a Shopify collection or a CSV and each product lands on a dark page with photo, deal price, crossed-out compare-at price and a Shop now button; add the QR code field for printed copies. If you change a deal in Shopify, Sync brings the new price in. Share the retail flipbook so shoppers check out in your store, and print the PDF for the counter.

Best for

  • Electronics and gadget stores running a three-day Black Friday weekend
  • Doorbuster deals that need clear start times and per-customer limits
  • Shops selling online and in store that want one catalog for both
  • Gift sections for headphones, chargers and stocking stuffers under $50
  • Printed counter copies with a QR code that leads to the online flipbook
Highlights

Pages worth a closer look

Black Friday — Event / Launch page

Drop schedule for a three-day sale

A timeline splits the weekend into four timed drops: doorbusters at 00:01 on Nov 27, an audio hour at noon, a wearables restock on Nov 28 and a last call on Nov 29. Shoppers know when to come back, so one catalog carries the whole event.

Black Friday — Featured Product page

Doorbuster page with the saving spelled out

The lead deal gets a full page: a large product photo, the deal price beside the crossed-out price, a red Save $70 tag and a spec row for driver size, battery, charging and weight. Swap in your own headline product and its numbers.

Black Friday — Size / Spec Guide page

Comparison table for quick decisions

Five headphones line up by noise cancelling, battery life, weight and deal price, with a note on the two-per-customer limit for doorbusters. Shoppers torn between two models can decide without leaving the catalog, and some trade up once they see the difference.

Black Friday — Promo / Sale page

Countdown promo with a checkout code

A huge 60% figure sits over a days, hours, minutes and seconds timer and the code BLACK60, set next to a barcode. One-line terms cover one code per order, excluded gift cards and stock limits. Change the code and dates to match your event.

Tips

What to put in a Black Friday catalog

Make every was-price defensible

A crossed-out price only helps if it is real. US guidance on former-price comparisons expects the old price to be one you actually charged for a meaningful period, and in the EU the reference must be the lowest price of the previous 30 days. Pull compare-at prices from your store data instead of typing them by hand.

Cap doorbusters and say so

Doorbusters exist to bring people in, so stock is usually thin. Print the per-customer limit, the quantity on hand if you can share it, and the exact start time with a time zone. Shoppers forgive a sold-out deal far more easily than one that was never clearly limited.

Publish during Thanksgiving week

Many shoppers build their Black Friday list in the days before the sale. Share the flipbook link with your email list and followers on the Monday of Thanksgiving week and mark which deals open at midnight. A stack of printed copies at the register catches the people who prefer to browse in person.

Answer gift questions up front

A lot of Black Friday buying is early holiday shopping for someone else. Put gift receipts, extended returns and the last order date for Christmas delivery on one page, as the small-print page here does. Clear answers stop gift buyers from leaving a full cart while they check your policies.

Sort some deals by price band

Next to departments like audio and wearables, add a gifts-under-$50 section and order it by price. Shoppers with a budget go straight there, and it is the natural home for chargers, cables and small speakers that also work as add-ons to a bigger purchase.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Which pages are in the Black Friday catalog template?

Three cover designs (a countdown cover, a department band and a 60% poster) and 12 campaign pages: welcome, collection divider, featured doorbuster, top four deals, promo with checkout code, how to shop, small print, contact, a framed blank page, back cover, drop schedule and a headphone comparison table. Your products follow on dark product pages in the same style.

Can shoppers buy straight from the Black Friday catalog?

If you sell on Shopify, share it as a retail flipbook and shoppers check out in your store. Add the QR code field to your products so printed copies can be scanned item by item, and use the QR code of the flipbook link on posters and receipts. Without Shopify, share a showcase flipbook and print the PDF for the shop floor.

When should a Black Friday catalog go out?

In 2026 Black Friday falls on November 27, the day after US Thanksgiving. Send a preview to subscribers one to two weeks ahead so people can plan, then share the live catalog when the deals open. Printed copies should be in store by the weekend before, with a QR code that opens the online version.

How many products should a Black Friday catalog include?

Fewer than you might think. Lead with 10 to 20 doorbusters that carry real savings, then group the rest by department and price band. A 2×2 or 2×3 grid leaves room for the deal price, the was-price and a QR code on each product. Catalogs can run to 500 pages, but a tight edit is easier to shop on a phone.
