About this template

About the Hi-Fi & Audio template

This hi-fi audio catalog template is a full design kit with the mood of a listening room after dark: charcoal pages, cream type and an amber glow taken from a VU meter. Abel headlines sit with Hind body text and monospaced spec lines, and circles return throughout, from speaker cones and control knobs to round photo frames. The front cover sets a round macro photo of a woven copper speaker cone above a copper-brown name panel, and a VU meter tops the contents page.

It sells the way a good audio shop does, by helping people choose. A room guide pairs room size with sensitivity, impedance and amplifier power, a placement diagram shows the listening triangle, and the FAQ explains watts in plain words. Each speaker, amplifier or turntable you import from Shopify, WooCommerce or a CSV lands on a dark product page or a featured mosaic. Print copies for the showroom, or share a flipbook; Shopify stores can let readers check out from it.

Best for

  • Independent hi-fi shops with demo rooms and home trials
  • Loudspeaker and amplifier makers selling direct to listeners
  • Turntable and vinyl accessory stores that teach record care
  • Headphone specialists comparing open-back and closed-back models
  • Audio retailers promoting listening events and seasonal offers
Highlights

Pages worth a closer look

Hi-Fi & Audio — Size / Spec Guide page

Which speaker for which room

A table matches four room sizes to a speaker, its sensitivity, impedance and recommended amplifier power. Below it, a placement diagram draws the equilateral listening triangle, a frequency response curve notes how the room adds bass, and a footnote gives a rule of thumb for watts.

Hi-Fi & Audio — FAQ page

Demo-room questions, answered

Six questions asked in the shop get short answers: how many watts you need, whether you need a phono stage, returns after the trial, installation, trade-ins and warranty. A round speaker photo and a small dial keep the page in the same visual language.

Hi-Fi & Audio — Care Instructions page

Care for records, stylus and cabinets

Four round photos introduce record, stylus, cabinet and connection care, each with one or two practical habits. A VU meter panel explains why clipping, not volume, damages tweeters, and a service table lists intervals for stylus checks, belts, ear pads and cartridge re-tips.

Hi-Fi & Audio — Event / Launch page

Vinyl night and a season of events

An invitation to a vinyl night in a demo room, with date, time, place and a reply button, sits beside a photo of a hand at the tonearm. Below it, three more evenings are listed: a headphone evening, an amplifier shoot-out and a winter listening night.

Tips

What to include in a hi-fi and audio catalog

Match speakers to rooms, then to budgets

A speaker that suits a 12 square meter study will struggle in an open-plan living room. Give room size ranges for each model, with its sensitivity and the amplifier power it needs. Customers who can place themselves in a room guide ask better questions and choose with more confidence.

Quote specs the way reviewers do

List sensitivity in dB at 2.83 V and 1 meter, nominal and minimum impedance, frequency response with its tolerance, such as plus or minus 3 dB, and amplifier power per channel into 8 and 4 ohms. Consistent units let experienced buyers compare your range with the system they already own.

Sell the listening, not only the box

Hi-fi is bought by ear, so give demos and home trials the same space as products. Explain how to book a room, what to bring, how long a home trial lasts and who sets up the system. Event pages for record nights or headphone evenings bring people back between purchases.

Show finishes and complete systems

Veneer, color and grille options change how a speaker fits a room, so show each finish in a photo. Then suggest matched systems of amplifier, speakers and source at a total price, with cables and stands as add-ons. A ready-made system is easier to say yes to than five separate decisions.

Add vinyl and stylus care

Turntable buyers appreciate practical care: brush records before each side, store them upright away from sunlight, and check the stylus regularly, since a worn tip can damage grooves. Give a replacement interval in playing hours and offer a check in the shop. Care advice builds trust and brings people back for belts and cartridges.

FAQ

Questions about this template

What pages are in the Hi-Fi & Audio design kit?

Seven covers, including a turntable magazine issue and a Turn it up poster, and 20 designed pages. Audio shops get a room guide, care page, vinyl night invitation and demo-room FAQ, alongside a listening-room welcome, VU-scale contents, a demo-room lookbook, a featured bookshelf speaker, the basement-to-showroom story, a four-step buying guide, Listening Days offers, after-the-trial reviews and terms in plain words. Matching dark product pages and mosaic layouts are part of the kit.

Can I show prices with VAT, in euros or in another currency?

Yes. Catalogs can use any of 28 currencies, and the sample prices are in euros including VAT, which you can change. The Discount & Tax tool shows prices excluding VAT, applies percentage or fixed discounts, or converts with a currency multiplier, so a trade edition and a retail edition can come from the same products.

How do I explain amplifier power to hi-fi customers?

Start with speaker sensitivity rather than watts. A more sensitive speaker needs far less power to play at the same volume: every 3 dB of extra sensitivity halves the power required. For a typical 87 dB bookshelf speaker in a 20 square meter room, 40 to 60 watts per channel is plenty, with headroom to spare.

Should speaker prices be listed per pair or each?

Bookshelf and floorstanding speakers are usually priced per pair, while subwoofers and center speakers are sold singly. Label every price clearly; the sample's featured speaker reads per pair, incl. VAT, right beside its price. Shoppers comparing shops otherwise assume the cheaper reading, and a clear label avoids an awkward surprise at checkout.
