About this template

About the Bold Retail template

Bold Retail is a red catalog template that borrows the look of a store-window sale sign. The cover, section divider and back page are solid red, and the first two carry a yellow circle cut off by the top corner and a few translucent diamonds. Headlines are set in Archivo Black, in white and yellow on the red pages, while the white inner pages add a red strip across the top, a yellow strip along the bottom and Oswald subheadings.

It is made for selling volume: promotions, closeouts, pre-season deals and bulk offers sent to retailers. Products can show a regular price, a compare-at price and a discount price, and the Discount & Tax tool takes a percentage or a fixed amount off your prices. A Sale & Offers section is already in the contents, and the order form makes it easy for a store buyer to act before the offer ends.

Best for

  • Wholesalers announcing a promotion, closeout or bulk deal to stores
  • Discount, variety and convenience store suppliers
  • Pre-season offers on sporting goods, garden or seasonal products
  • Trade show handouts that have to stand out across the aisle
  • Product launches with an introductory price for retailers
Highlights

Pages worth a closer look

Bold Retail — Cover page

A full-red cover with yellow accents

PRODUCT in white and CATALOG in yellow Archivo Black stand large on the red cover, with a yellow circle in the top corner and translucent diamonds near the brand name. Change the second line to SALE, OFFERS or CLEARANCE and the cover becomes a promotion.

Bold Retail — Contents page

Contents with a ready-made Sale & Offers section

CONTENTS in Archivo Black heads five numbered sections in Oswald capitals, and the fourth, Sale & Offers, is already waiting for your promotion. Rename the others to fit the campaign, for example Bulk Deals, Bundles or Last Chance.

Bold Retail — Divider page

Red dividers with an oversized number

Every new section opens on a solid red page with a big translucent 01, a yellow circle and a white collection name. Use one per offer, such as a clearance range, a bundle deal or a new line at its launch price, so buyers see where each deal begins.

Bold Retail — Back page page

A red back page that ends on contact details

The catalog closes on red again: a white thank-you in Archivo Black with a yellow underline, a one-line call for orders, then your email, phone and website in white. Add the offer end date here so it is the last thing a buyer reads.

Tips

How to run a wholesale promotion catalog retailers act on

Put the offer in numbers

Store buyers skim, so state each deal as a number they can act on, such as 15 percent off or a set price per case, and repeat it on the cover and on the divider before each offer. An offer explained only in the terms is an offer nobody notices.

Show the regular and the offer price

A discount means more when the buyer can see both prices. Keep the regular wholesale price as the price and apply the offer with the Discount & Tax tool so the discount price prints beside it, and keep the two in the same position on every product so the eye knows where to look.

Set a clear end date

Promotions without a deadline get postponed. Print the offer dates on the cover, the How to Order page and the back page, and say whether the deal is limited to stock on hand. A firm date gives buyers a reason to order now.

Keep offer pages uncluttered

Red pages already shout, so give each offer room. Four to six products per page with large prices are easier to scan than a 20-product grid, and one hero product per divider tells buyers what the promotion is about at a glance.

Time it ahead of the retail season

Retailers book promotional stock well before it reaches the shelf, often two to three months ahead and earlier for the winter holidays. Send the catalog early enough for them to plan displays, then follow up with the flipbook link and its QR code a week before the deadline.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Can Bold Retail show discounted and original prices?

Yes. Product pages can show the price, compare-at price and discount price together, plus SKU, barcode and a QR code. The Discount & Tax tool applies a percentage or fixed discount and can show prices ex-VAT, so running a promotion does not mean editing every product by hand.

Is Bold Retail a retail or a wholesale template?

The name describes the look, a loud retail-sale style, but the pages are set up for wholesale with How to Order terms and an order form. For shoppers, share it as a retail flipbook that checks out at Shopify, or remove the order pages and print it as a sale catalog.

Which promotions suit a wholesale catalog?

Offers that help the store make money: volume deals such as buy 12 and get 2 free, free freight above an order value, introductory prices on new lines, bundle packs and end-of-line closeouts. In the wholesale flipbook, three-tier volume pricing handles quantity breaks without extra paperwork.

What makes a sale catalog easy for store buyers to order from?

Clear prices, clear deadlines and a short path to the order. Put the offer on the cover, keep one layout for every product, show SKUs next to prices and include an order form or a flipbook link with its QR code. A buyer should be able to place an order without calling you.
