About the Building Materials Premium template
This building materials catalog template is art-directed like a working yard. A quoin of red brick runs down the cover edge, a safety-yellow tab marks the edition, and site-level markers from +0.000 to +1.800 step up the how-to-order page. Fjalla One headlines sit over Libre Franklin text on pale concrete gray, with oxide-red section panels. Real photography of pallets, block yards and site work runs through the seven covers and most of the twenty pages.
Use it to give contractors one catalog that answers the questions they usually phone about: unit and pallet price, weight for the crane, coverage per pallet and the cut-off for next-day delivery. Import products from Shopify by collection or upload a CSV from your yard system, and they land on white product pages with SKU, price and specs. Print CMYK counter copies with bleed and send account holders a password-protected wholesale flipbook.

Pages worth a closer look

Pallet and spec guide
A table of unit size, unit weight, units per pallet, coverage and pallet weight for each core line, plus a drawn crane truck with its load. Contractors can run a take-off and check lifting weights without calling the yard.

Featured block with a pallet card
The bond beam block page pairs a large photo with a drawn section, the price per block and per full pallet, blocks per pallet, pallet weight and wall coverage. Use it for a high-volume line or a product you want builders to switch to.

How to order, step by step
Four steps climb a site-level line: open an account, send the take-off, book the drop, crane offload. A band at the foot repeats the first-order minimum, pallet deposit, payment terms and pallets per crane truck, so the rules sit beside the process.

Storage and handling
Keep it dry, keep it flat: four photo-led rules for brick and block on pallets, bagged cement, sheet goods, timber and insulation on site, plus a yard tip on white bloom on new brickwork. It helps cut damaged-stock claims and shows your counter knows the material.

Build-season promo
A 10% discount on full pallets of block and brick, dated March 2 to April 17, with a code and trade-only small print. Change the dates and ranges to run your own stock-up offer before the spring rush.
What to include in a building materials trade catalog
Price per unit and per pallet
Contractors estimate per unit but buy by the pallet, so print both prices with the units per pallet beside them. Add the pallet weight too: the site needs it to confirm the crane or forklift can lift the load, and your dispatcher needs it to plan each truck.
Give coverage, not just dimensions
Take-offs start from wall or floor area, so tell buyers what a unit covers. A standard 8 × 16 in block face covers about 0.89 sq ft, so a wall needs roughly 1.125 blocks per square foot. Print units per square foot and coverage per pallet, and buyers order the right quantity the first time.
Date prices and flag volatile lines
Lumber, cement and steel prices move during the year. Print a validity date on the cover and the terms page, mark lines that are quoted on the day, and keep the online flipbook as the current version, with its QR code on your printed counter copies.
Order brick from one production run
Face brick color varies between kiln batches. Advise buyers to order the full quantity for an elevation in one go, state your batch or lot policy in the trade terms, and show brick laid in a wall rather than a single unit, so the blend and mortar color are clear.
Publish before the spring build season
Residential building picks up in spring, so contractors open supplier accounts and compare prices in late winter. Have the new edition printed and the flipbook live by February, with a full-pallet offer that ends before the rush, as the sample's March to April promotion does.

Questions about this template
What pages come with the building materials catalog template?
Seven covers (photo, band price list, framed, poster, split, magazine and sticker) and twenty pages: welcome, contents, section divider, site and yard photos, featured product, story, yard crew, how to order, best sellers, promo, numbers, yard demo day, testimonials, FAQ, pallet and spec guide, storage and handling, contact, trade terms, a notes page and a back cover. White product pages hold your items.
Can contractors order from it online at trade prices?
Yes. Share it as a wholesale flipbook with the built-in order form, protect it with a password so only account holders see trade prices, and set a minimum order value or order multiples that match pallet quantities. Orders arrive by email and in the app, and the Unlimited plan can import Shopify B2B catalogs with their price lists.
How should a builders merchant organize its catalog?
Follow the order a building goes up: brick and block, cement and aggregates, timber and sheet goods, roofing and insulation, then steel and fixings. Sections that match the trades help contractors find lines fast, and numbered dividers let counter staff quote page references over the phone.
Which specs do contractors expect for each building product?
Actual dimensions (a 2 × 4 stud measures 1½ × 3½ in), unit weight, units per pallet or bundle, coverage per pallet, strength or grade, and moisture or treatment status for timber. Add the price basis, such as per piece, per bag or per thousand brick, so quotes compare cleanly.
