About the Hardware & Tools Premium template
This hardware catalog template is built around measurement. Ruler ticks run along the page edges, drill holes from 1/16 to 1/2 inch print actual size on the cover, and the contents page is drawn as a stack of labeled drawers. Roboto Slab headlines and Roboto Mono data sit on warm beige paper tones with cobalt tabs and black price tags, framing photos of chisels, planes, drill presses and bits.
It speaks to the store owner who restocks a fastener bay every week. Product pages can show SKU and dealer price, with MSRP printed from a Shopify metafield or the description so margins are clear, plus a barcode for the store's register. Import from Shopify with Sync or upload a CSV, share a wholesale flipbook with case-pack multiples and a minimum order, and print the size guide at 100% so the holes stay true.

- Hardware distributors selling to independent stores on dealer accounts
- Fastener and hand tool brands publishing a spring dealer price book

Pages worth a closer look

Drill bit and fastener size guide
Fractional bits converted to millimeters, metric bits from 1 to 13 mm, pilot and clearance holes by screw gauge and a nail penny chart, with holes drawn actual size at 100% scale. Dealers can pin it up at the counter.

Contents drawn as drawers
Five labeled drawers list Fasteners, Hand Tools, Drilling & Driving, Builders' Hardware and Measuring & Layout with SKU ranges and page numbers, sorted the way a store counter is. Rename the labels to match your own sections.

Featured tool with dealer net and MSRP
The smoothing plane page shows a workshop photo, dealer net beside MSRP, case quantity, a spec list and a drawing of the iron at actual size. Use it for a high-margin hero product that dealers should face out on the shelf.

Counter week promotion
A 12% offer on fastener case packs for dealer orders over $500, dated March 3 to 14, with a code, mix-and-match rules and a free-freight threshold. It is written to fill dealers' drawers before spring.

Dealer days invitation
A ticket-style invitation to two days on the warehouse floor with dates, hours, show pricing and free planogram reviews. Change the details for your own buying show or open house.
What independent hardware stores need from a dealer catalog
Show dealer net and MSRP side by side
Store owners buy on margin. Print the dealer price next to the suggested retail price, plus the case or inner pack, so the buyer sees the markup per unit and per case without a calculator. Keep MSRP in a Shopify metafield, or in the description for CSV imports, so it prints in the same spot on every product.
Print UPC barcodes
Independent stores scan products into their point-of-sale system. A barcode on each product block saves them keying in new items and reduces mispicks. Keep the barcode, SKU and bin label in the same format across catalog, packaging and shelf tags.
Plan for spring and holiday buying
Hardware dealers place their largest early orders for spring projects in late winter, and stock gift tools and sets for Father's Day and December. Publish the dealer catalog by January and run a counter promotion on fastener case packs before the spring rush.
Print size guides at 100%
Actual-size charts only work at the right scale. Export the PDF at full size, ask dealers to print at 100% rather than fit to page, and add a short ruler bar so anyone can check the print against a real tape measure.
Spell out pack-breaking rules
Say which lines ship in inner packs of 100, which tools come in case packs of 4 to 12, and what happens when a dealer orders less. A clear surcharge or minimum avoids credit notes and keeps picking fast.

Questions about this template
What does the hardware catalog template include?
Seven covers, including a drill-gauge cover, a framed cover with a nail drawn actual size, a level poster, a split cover and a dealer quarterly. Inside are twenty pages: note to dealers, drawer-style contents, section divider, bench photos, featured tool, story, trade desk, ordering, most reordered, counter week, numbers, dealer days, dealer quotes, FAQ, size guide, tool care, contact, terms, notes and back cover.
Can dealers order case packs from the flipbook?
Yes. In the wholesale flipbook you can set order multiples that match case packs, a minimum quantity per line, a minimum order value such as a $500 opening order, and up to three volume price tiers. Dealers submit the built-in order form, and each order lands in your email and in the app.
How should a hardware catalog be organized?
Mirror the store: fasteners, hand tools, drilling and driving, builders' hardware, then measuring and layout, with SKU ranges per section. Dealers restock by aisle and bin, so sections that follow the shelf layout and SKUs that match bin labels turn reordering into a quick walk down the aisle.
What specs should a fastener listing include?
Type, diameter or gauge, length, thread or drive, material and finish, plus pack quantity and price per pack. For screws add the recommended pilot hole, and give inch and metric sizes where customers use both. A dimensioned line drawing helps buyers match a part they already have.
