About the Candles & Home Fragrance template
This candle catalog template is quiet and minimal, made for products that sell on mood. Antic headlines, Muli text and Lustria serif details sit on warm stone pages with sage and slate accents, and a vessel motif echoes the shape of a candle jar. Its photography runs across seven covers, twenty designed pages and matching product and mosaic layouts, and the front cover carries a burn-hour scale from 0 to 60 hours.
The example brand is a made-up Portland studio that sells by the case to boutiques and hotels, with five ranges from Vessel Candles to Private Label. Your scents flow onto product pages with wholesale price and SKU, while case pack, burn time and a suggested retail price can go in the description. Stockists can order through a wholesale flipbook that enforces case multiples and a minimum order value.

- Home fragrance brands with diffusers, room sprays and wax melts

Pages worth a closer look

Burn and fragrance guide by room
Vessel sizes are drawn to scale, then a table lists wax weight, wick count, burn time and the room each size suits, from a travel tin for a bath or desk to a three-wick for an open-plan room or lobby. Buyers can stock a sensible mix of sizes.

Candle care rules for shelf talkers
Four rules cover trimming the wick, letting the first burn reach the edge, limiting burn time and keeping candles away from drafts. The page is written to be printed as a shelf card for stockists.

Most-reordered scent with full specs
A featured scent shows wholesale price and suggested retail, vessel, wax, wick and burn time, case pack and SKU, with a short scent description. It doubles as a specification sheet for buyers.

New-account opening offer
A promo page offers new stockists a discount on their opening order and a loaned display stand, with a code and the conditions. It gives your sales reps a clear reason to call a new shop.
What to include in a candle catalog for stockists
Print burn time and wax weight
Buyers compare candles on burn hours and fill weight as much as on scent. List net wax weight in ounces and grams, the number of wicks and tested burn time for every vessel, and keep the figures consistent with what is printed on your labels.
Describe each scent in three notes
Retail staff need a quick way to sell a scent. Give each one a name, three key notes and the room or mood it suits, and supply testers with opening orders so staff can let customers smell a candle before they buy it.
Include safety and care information
Candle care instructions and safety warnings are expected on labels in many markets. Repeat them in the catalog and offer a printable care card, which helps stores answer questions about tunneling, soot and burn time at the shelf.
Send the holiday edition by midsummer
Candles sell strongly as gifts, and many boutiques place holiday orders in late summer. Send your fall and holiday catalog with new scents and gift sets by midsummer, then follow with a reorder edition once the season is under way.

Questions about this template
Does the candle catalog template include a private label section?
Yes. The sample range ends with a Private Label collection, and the contact, FAQ and terms pages mention private label samples, minimums and lead times. Edit those details to match your program, or remove the section if you only sell your own brand.
Can I enforce case packs and minimums in the flipbook?
Yes. In a wholesale flipbook you can set a minimum order value and require quantities in multiples, for example six units per scent, with optional minimum and maximum quantities. Three volume price tiers can reward larger orders.
What burn time should a candle catalog list?
List the tested burn time for each size as a range, measured with recommended burn sessions of up to four hours and a trimmed wick. As a rough guide, an 8 oz soy blend candle often burns for 40 to 50 hours, but always test your own.
Should a candle catalog show wholesale and retail prices?
Yes. Stockists want the wholesale price next to the suggested retail price so they can check their margin at a glance. Many candle brands set wholesale at about half of retail, but state your own terms clearly on the trade terms page.
