About this template

About the Halloween template

Dark without being scary, this Halloween catalog template sets cream type on deep plum-purple pages with pumpkin orange and lilac accents. Tall Mouse Memoirs headlines meet hand-drawn Amatic SC lines and plain Nunito Sans text. On the front cover a pale yellow moon and small bats float above an orange-rimmed arch filled with painted pumpkins and white candles. A second cover tilts an orange band under whole pumpkins, one with a drawn-on face, and the poster runs “Trick or treat” down an orange strip beside a glowing jack-o'-lantern.

It is written for shoppers rather than trade buyers. The fictional shop in the sample copy puts its order-by date and free shipping threshold on the cover, then adds gift wrap, in-store pickup, 30-day returns and allergen notes for candy. A party planner works out how much candy a porch needs. Dark product pages show sale and regular prices with Shop now buttons, and on Shopify the retail flipbook sends shoppers to checkout in your store. Print a few copies for the counter, too.

Best for

  • Gift and home decor shops with a Halloween corner or October pop-up
  • Candy shops and bakeries selling treat buckets, chocolates and cupcake kits
  • Party stores promoting tableware, lanterns and decorations for October 31
  • Shopify stores that want a shoppable seasonal flipbook to send by email
  • Family-friendly brands that prefer friendly ghosts to gore
Highlights

Pages worth a closer look

Halloween — Size / Spec Guide page

Candy planner by trick-or-treater count

A table turns the number of trick-or-treaters into pieces of candy, bags, the right bucket and a budget, from up to 25 kids to more than 150. A porch tip and a photo of a pumpkin cupcake fill the lower half, giving shoppers a reason to buy more than one bag.

Halloween — How to Order page

How to shop, in four steps

Staggered cards explain tapping Shop now, choosing delivery, adding free gift wrap and picking up in store within two hours. A strip at the bottom repeats the free shipping threshold, the October 24 order-by date and the pickup time, so nobody misses the deadline.

Halloween — Notes / Terms page

Before you order, the short version

A lavender panel with a rippled edge and a 30-day returns badge sits beside six short notes: delivery cut-off, returns, gift receipts, flameless LED candles, candy allergens and click and collect. It settles the practical worries parents have before they buy.

Halloween — Promo / Sale page

Halloween week sale on bright orange

A big purple starburst announces 25% off every lantern, candle and glowing pumpkin from October 24 to 31, online and in store. The code sits in a white pill, easy to read in the flipbook or on a printed copy by the register.

Tips

What to put in a Halloween catalog for shoppers

Organize by where things go

Shoppers think in places, not product types: the porch, the window, the party table, the candy bowl. Use sections like the sample's Pumpkins & Lanterns and Party Table, and put one strong photo on each divider so a parent can picture the whole setup before choosing pieces.

Help shoppers buy enough candy

Running out of candy at 7 pm is a common worry, and a simple planner turns it into a bigger basket. Base it on about three pieces per trick-or-treater, suggest bag counts and a bucket size, and place the candy and buckets on the very next page.

Answer safety questions before they are asked

Parents want flameless candles near costumes and clear allergen labels on treats. State hours of glow per set of batteries and whether a timer is built in, mark nut-free mixes, and offer a few non-food treats such as stickers or glow sticks for children with allergies.

Separate keep-for-years pieces from one-night items

Ceramic lanterns and porcelain ghosts come out every October, so they can carry a higher price than paper plates or candy. Group them together, mention that they last, and pair each with a small consumable add-on, such as a candy dish with a bag of chocolate pumpkins.

Keep it spooky-cute for families

In gift and decor shops, much of the Halloween trade comes from families with young children, so friendly ghosts and smiling pumpkins tend to sell better than gore. Say so in the copy, as the sample FAQ does, and choose warm, candlelit photos over harsh horror images.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Can shoppers buy straight from the Halloween catalog?

For Shopify stores, yes. Share it as a retail flipbook, and shoppers add products and check out in your Shopify store. Every link comes with a QR code you can print on window signs, bags or receipts. Without Shopify, share a showcase flipbook or a PDF that points to your shop address and website.

Can I use this Halloween template for wholesale instead of retail?

Yes. Every page is editable, so rewrite the how-to and terms pages for trade buyers and share the catalog as a wholesale flipbook with a built-in order form, minimum order value and quantity rules. If you want trade copy from the start, the Halloween Sale template is written for stockists.

When should a Halloween catalog reach shoppers?

Late September to early October. Decor and costumes sell first, often in the first two weeks of October, while candy and party supplies peak in the final week. Send the catalog early, follow with a reminder before your last delivery date, and keep in-store pickup in the message for the last few days.

Which products belong in a Halloween shopping catalog?

Start with decor that lasts, such as lanterns, ceramic pumpkins and candles, then add candy, treat buckets, party tableware and baking kits. Include a few gifts under $15 for impulse buys and mark anything likely to sell out early. Keep costumes and props in their own section if you carry them.
