About the Last-Minute Gifts template
This last-minute gift guide template looks like a parcel already on its way: an express shipping label on navy, addressed to everyone you forgot, with order-by and arrives-by dates, a barcode and a gift-wrapped-free sticker. Signal red, label yellow and navy keep it urgent. Oswald headlines shout, Work Sans stays readable and Courier Prime adds a typed dispatch-note feel. Two more covers read it's not too late.
The sample copy is for a food shop: pantry heroes, honey and marmalade, pasta night kits, olive oil and e-gift cards, all gifts that need no sizing. Import only items you can ship today, run Sync on Shopify imports before each send so prices and stock match the store, and share the flipbook in your final reminder email or print copies for the counter in the last week.
Best for
- Food, pantry and gourmet shops with gifts that ship the same day
- Stores offering in-store pickup or a city courier before Christmas
- E-gift card pushes on December 23 and 24
- A final reminder email before the shipping cut-offs
- Counter handouts for shoppers on their way to a party
Pages worth a closer look

An express shipping label as the cover
Ship to: everyone you forgot. The cover borrows the look of an express label, with order-by and arrives-by dates, a collect-in-one-hour option, a barcode-style gift number and a gift-wrapped-free sticker. The deadline is the design.

Still time: the real deadlines
Four date tiles cover December 21 to 24: express by 2 pm, a city courier, in-store collection within an hour and e-gift cards on the last day. Shoppers see every remaining option at a glance.

Free express shipping on a hanging tag
A tag on a yellow page offers free express shipping over $50, with the code, cut-off time and region printed underneath. Shipping cost is the last objection a late shopper has, and this page answers it.

Plain terms for food gifts
The small print covers the delivery cut-off, free gift wrap, a replacement promise for food that arrives less than perfect, and gift cards from $10 sent by email in minutes. Edible gifts cannot be returned, so the page says what happens instead.
How to sell to last-minute gift shoppers in December
Lead with the deadline
Late shoppers have one question: will it arrive in time. Put the next order-by date on the front cover and give the full set of options a page of its own: standard, express, local courier, in-store pickup and e-gift cards. Update the dates as each one passes so the guide never promises the impossible.
List only what you can send today
A last-minute guide is a promise about stock. Leave out anything with low inventory or a long lead time, check stock before each send, and remove items as they sell out. One sold-out hero gift undermines the whole message of the guide.
Make e-gift cards the safety net
After the last shipping day, an e-gift card delivered by email in minutes is the only gift that still arrives on time. Give it its own chapter, show the amounts available and suggest pairing it with a printed card the buyer can hand over.
Offer pickup and local delivery
Buy online and collect in an hour, or a courier within the city, keeps you selling after the carriers stop. Print pickup hours, the address and what to bring along with the order number. Shoppers deciding on December 23 need those details more than product stories.
Describe food gifts like a label
Edible gifts need net weight, shelf life, storage, main ingredients and allergens. Say whether a gift travels well without refrigeration and offer replacement instead of returns. Pantry items with long shelf lives, such as honey, oil and dry pasta, are the safest to ship at the last minute.

Questions about this template
What makes this template right for last-minute shoppers?
Everything in it is about time. The cover is an express label with order-by and arrives-by dates, the deadline page lists the final four days, the promo offers free express shipping, and one chapter is reserved for e-gift cards. Edit the dates to match your own carriers and pickup hours.
How do shoppers order from the Last-Minute Gifts guide?
On Shopify, share the retail flipbook: shoppers browse the guide and check out at your store. Printed copies can carry the flipbook's QR code, and each product can show its own QR code as well. Without Shopify, share a showcase flipbook and list your website and phone number on the contact page.
When is the last day to ship Christmas gifts?
It depends on the carrier and the service. Standard ground deadlines usually fall in mid-December, express services run a few days later, and overnight options can last until December 22 or 23. Carriers publish their holiday dates every fall, so check them before you print the deadline page.
Which gifts suit last-minute buyers?
Gifts that are in stock, need no sizing and travel well: food and pantry gifts, candles, books, gift sets and e-gift cards. Items that arrive wrapped with a handwritten card help most, because a late shopper has no time to wrap. Keep personalized and made-to-order items out of the guide.
