About the Mid-Year Sale template
This mid-year sale catalog shows the calendar at a glance. The front cover has a round dial split down the middle, with January to June filled in dark teal, above a row of twelve month blocks where July is lit in orange. The poster cover is a till receipt that lists six products, five with their original prices, and ends on the total saving. Chakra Petch headlines, Asap text and PT Mono figures on pale mint pages suit technical ranges, and product cards end in a full-width price strip.
Use it to turn the half-year count into a short, orderly sale. The pages tell clinics and pharmacies what they need before buying overstock: batch and expiry on every lot, case sizes such as ten boxes of gloves, a bundle discount for mixing three categories and dispatch within two days. Import the overstock from a Shopify collection or upload a CSV file with batch numbers in the description, then share a password-protected wholesale flipbook with your trade accounts.

Pages worth a closer look

Half-year dial and a twelve-month strip
A circle split into halves marks January to June as done, and a strip of month blocks highlights July. With the key facts, an up-to sticker and three product photos, the cover explains when and why the sale is happening at a glance.

A till receipt that totals the saving
The poster cover reads like a receipt from the warehouse: address, sale dates, six products with sale prices, five of them with original price and percentage saved, then the total saving at the bottom. Edit the lines to list your own headline lots.

Stocktake terms with batch and expiry
The first term states that every lot lists its batch number and expiry date and that no opened or ex-display stock is sold. Minimums, payment, freight and collection follow, so a buyer's procurement checklist is covered before the order.

Bundle discount across categories
A promo page gives an extra 7% off orders that mix three categories, aimed at clinics and pharmacies. Cross-category bundles move slower lines, such as mobility aids, alongside the gloves and plasters buyers reorder anyway.
What to include in a mid-year medical supply sale
Print batch and expiry for every lot
Clinical buyers need batch numbers and expiry dates before they accept stock, and many set a minimum remaining shelf life. Give both on each lot, move short-dated items into their own lot at a lower price, and never mix expiry dates within one case.
Time the sale to the budget year
Many hospitals, universities and public bodies run a July-to-June budget year, so new budgets open on July 1. A sale in the first half of July reaches buyers who have fresh funds and are restocking after their own year-end count.
Give units per box and boxes per case
Gloves often come 100 to a box and ten boxes to a case, while plasters may come twenty boxes to a case. State both levels and the price per unit, so a practice manager can compare your overstock price with their usual contract price in a few seconds.
List sizes, materials and sterility
For gloves, give the material, whether they are powder-free and which sizes are in stock, from XS to XXL. For wound care, mark sterile and non-sterile items clearly. In a clinic the wrong item cannot simply be swapped in, so buyers skip listings that leave them guessing.
Keep it short and dated
Two weeks is long enough for buyers to get an order approved and short enough to keep urgency. Announce a second-week markdown on lines that are still left, as the template's timeline does, and stop on the last day so the sale price does not become the expected price.

Questions about this template
Can I use the mid-year sale template outside healthcare?
Yes. The clinical products and supplier are fictional placeholders. Any business that counts stock at the half-year, from office supplies to industrial parts, can rename the sections, replace the photos and import its own overstock. The dial cover, receipt poster and lot list work for any range sold to trade buyers.
Can business buyers see prices without tax?
Yes. The Discount & Tax tool can show ex-VAT prices, apply a percentage or fixed discount and use a currency multiplier, and catalogs support 28 currencies. That way a clinic sees net clearance prices in its own currency, and you do not have to retype a single price by hand.
What is a mid-year sale?
A sale held around the middle of the year, usually in late June or July, after a business counts its stock at the half-year mark. It clears overstock and slow lines before the second half begins, frees warehouse space and turns idle inventory into cash. Where customers run July-to-June budgets, it also meets them just as new funds open.
Can medical supplies be sold at clearance prices?
Yes, as long as the products are in date, sealed and stored as the manufacturer requires. Buyers will expect batch numbers, expiry dates and confidence in how the stock was stored, and some items have rules on who may buy them. Check the regulations in your market for anything beyond general consumables.
