About the New Year Preview template
This New Year pre-order catalog works in deep plum and cream with rose-gold accents, using Spectral headlines and Work Sans text. On the front cover, an arched photo of champagne flutes carries a small clock badge on its lower edge, and a copper pill on the plum band carries the pre-order date. The poster cover sets New Year in large type on a starry plum page, while best sellers and the featured vase sit in arched frames.
Sample copy for a fictional decor studio introduces sculptural vases, color-blocked vessels, abstract wall art and candles, all available to pre-order for early January. Load your own range and it fills white product pages; the Discount & Tax tool can apply the preview saving as a percentage off your prices. Buyers then order through the wholesale flipbook, and each pre-order arrives by email and in the app.

Pages worth a closer look

Pre-order cover with a deadline pill
An arched photo of champagne flutes rises beside the New Year title, with a small clock badge at its edge. On the plum band below, a copper pill gives the December 1 pre-order date, with January 3 delivery and the 10% preview saving in a line underneath.

Divider with a numbered plum seal
White vases stand against deep red in the top photo, and a round plum seal numbers the section. Sculptural Objects gets one line on hand-finished stoneware and color-blocked glass, and a footer lists the other sections in the catalog.

Featured ring vase on plum
An arched photo of a ring-shaped stoneware vase carries a copper price badge. The page lists the $22.40 trade price against a $48 retail price, a 24 cm hand-finished body, a watertight glaze inside and double boxing for shipping, in cases of four.

Pre-order offer over rose-gold sequins
A cream circle floats on a photo of rose-gold sequins, holding 10% off pre-orders placed before December 1 and the offer code. The plum strip at the foot repeats the deadline, the January 3 delivery date and the $400 minimum pre-order.

Preview timeline with a reorder window
Three tiles mark December 1, when preview pricing ends, January 3, when consolidated pre-order shipments begin, and January 15 for the reorder window, with in-stock lines shipping in five working days.
How to run a New Year pre-order for home decor
Deliver in time for the January reset
Many gift and interior shops clear holiday stock and restyle windows in the first weeks of January. Pre-orders that land in the first days of the year give them fresh product for that reset, so close the preview early enough to consolidate shipments before the holiday shipping slowdown.
Say whether a vase holds water
Buyers need to know if a vase is watertight for fresh flowers or decorative only, best with dried stems. Give height and opening diameter in centimeters and inches, the material and finish, and care notes. The sample spells out a watertight inner glaze, a detail shops repeat to customers.
Explain packing and breakage claims
Stoneware and glass do not always survive the journey, and a first-time stockist will want to know the process before ordering. State how pieces are packed, for example double-boxed, the window for reporting damage, the photos you need, and whether you replace or credit. Put it on the terms page, not in small print.
Merchandise vases as a group
Vases sell better when shops can show them as a set. Group shapes and colors that work together, suggest arrangements in threes or fives, and offer coordinated sets like the sample's color-block vase set. Photograph groupings on the lookbook page so buyers can copy the display in their own window.
Keep preview pricing time-bound
A preview discount works because it ends. Give the closing date, say that stock is reserved in the buyer's name, and explain what happens after: whether reorders pay standard prices and how quickly in-stock lines ship. The sample promises five working days for reorders from mid-January.

Questions about this template
What comes with the New Year Preview template?
Sixteen pages. There are three covers (an arched champagne photo, a band cover with color-blocked vases and a starry plum poster), a buyer-preview letter, a Sculptural Objects divider, a featured vase, best sellers, a pre-order offer, how to order, trade terms, a contact page with a QR code, a framed blank, a back cover, a mood lookbook, a preview timeline and trade pricing with case packs. On the Free plan, non-Shopify accounts can use five of these pages in one catalog.
How do buyers place pre-orders from the New Year Preview?
Publish it as a wholesale flipbook. Buyers open the link or scan its QR code, enter quantities in the built-in order form and send it; you receive the pre-order by email and in the app. A minimum order value can mirror the $400 minimum pre-order, and a password keeps the preview to invited accounts.
When should home decor suppliers open January pre-orders?
Open them in early November and close them in early December. Shop owners plan the post-holiday reset while December trade is still running, and they want new stock on shelves in the first week of January. Close pre-orders three to four weeks before delivery so shipments can be consolidated around the holidays.
What do retailers need to know about vases and ceramics before ordering?
Dimensions in both units, material and finish, whether the piece is watertight, care instructions and the case pack. For freight planning, add carton size and weight, and say whether items ship double-boxed. Show the recommended retail price beside the trade price, and photograph each piece with something for scale.
