About the New Year Sale template
This New Year sale catalog template dresses a January trade event in midnight navy and champagne gold. On the front cover, gold and silver fireworks burst around a starburst seal holding the discount, and Abril Fatface headlines sit over clean Montserrat text. Small firework stars stand in for bullets. Two more covers, a sparkler photo band and a gold poster with a giant 40%, open 12 designed pages, from a stockist letter to a volume pricing table.
The sample copy speaks for a fictional barware house, so every page already talks to bars, restaurants and gift shops buying after the holiday rush. Import your own lines from a Shopify collection, a CSV file or a product feed, and they fill white product pages with photo, SKU, a short description and the regular price struck through beside the sale price. Send the wholesale flipbook in the last days of December, when pre-orders open on the sale calendar, and bring printed copies to January showroom visits.

Pages worth a closer look

Buy more, save more tier page
Three stacked bars spell out the offer: 20% off orders from $250, 30% from $500, and 40% plus free freight over $1,000, with the code and sale dates in a pill underneath. Gold confetti fills the lower half. Change the thresholds to suit your own margins.

A sale calendar that sells pre-orders
Three calendar tiles mark the dates that matter: pre-orders open at sale prices on December 28, the sale starts January 2 and ordering closes January 16. A sparkler photo and a ship-by line below tell buyers when their stock will arrive.

Volume pricing table with a worked example
Four order-value bands list the trade discount, freight and payment terms side by side, up to Net 45 above $2,500. Beneath the table, a worked $1,200 order shows what the buyer pays and when, which answers the usual questions before anyone has to ask.

Deal-of-the-season product page
A full-height photo of champagne flutes and a sparkler sits beside one hero product: trade price, recommended retail price, case pack, three selling points and tiles for the order-by date and sale code. Give it to the set you want in every first order.
How to plan a New Year trade sale catalog
Open pre-orders before the holidays end
Many buyers plan January orders in the quiet days between Christmas and New Year. Publish the catalog then and hold sale prices on pre-orders, as the sample calendar does from December 28. Buyers lock in the discount without taking stock they cannot shelve yet, and you see January demand before the sale even starts.
Describe glassware the way bars buy it
Bars and restaurants buy glassware by the case and replace breakage every few months. State the case pack next to every price, give capacity in ml and fl oz, and say whether a piece is dishwasher safe, tempered or lead-free crystal. Buyers compare a coupe and a flute on capacity and durability, not on the photo alone.
Spell out breakage and damage terms
Glass breaks in transit, and trade buyers want to know what happens when it does. Put the claim window, the photos you need and how replacements work on the terms page, and say how cartons are packed. A clear damage policy removes one of the biggest worries a new stockist has about ordering glassware.
Clear party lines, protect everyday lines
After New Year's Eve, sparklers, metallic runners and dated party pieces lose their season, while stemware and decanters sell all year. Use the featured deal and best-seller pages for the party lines you need to clear, and keep everyday glassware on order-value tiers, so buyers do not learn to wait for January to reorder basics.

Questions about this template
What pages come with the New Year Sale catalog template?
Fifteen. There are three covers (fireworks, a sparkler photo band and a gold poster), then a letter to stockists, a collection divider, a featured deal, best sellers, a buy-more-save-more promo, how to order, trade terms, a contact page with a QR code, a framed blank page, a back cover, a sale calendar and a volume pricing table. Product pages are added from your own products.
Can buyers order the New Year sale lines straight from the catalog?
Yes. Share it as a wholesale flipbook and buyers fill in its built-in order form; orders reach you by email and in the app. Set a minimum order value to match the first-order minimum on your terms page, add minimum or multiple quantities for case packs, and protect the link with a password if the prices are for trade accounts only.
When should a wholesaler announce a January sale?
Before buyers break for the holidays, ideally in mid to late December, with pre-orders open straight away. Retail and hospitality buyers review sell-through in the first week of January and restock quickly, so a catalog already in their inbox, with clear dates and an order-by deadline, is the one they can act on.
How should discount tiers be set for a New Year trade sale?
Tie the discount to order value instead of cutting every price, so the sale raises average order size. A three-step ladder such as 20%, 30% and 40% works once you have tested the top tier against your lowest-margin line. Adding free freight at the top tier often moves a buyer up more than a few extra points of discount.
