About this template

About the Pet Products Catalog template

Lavender pages, deep indigo type and bright orange give this pet products catalog template its playful look, with mustard-yellow backdrops behind most of the pet photos. The front cover tapes three instant-style prints of two dogs and a cat above a scalloped edge, with an orange bone tag hanging on a string. Quicksand headlines, Nunito text and Lobster script keep the tone friendly, paw prints dot the corners, and a poster cover sets “Good boy goods.” in an orange circle over a fluffy dog.

Written for a fictional pet supply brand, the sample text covers what shop owners ask about: short-ingredient treats with dated shelf life, a 30-day tough-toy promise, swaps on unopened stock and reorders in one to two days. A fit guide matches bed sizes to pet length, weight and breed. Imported products fill white product pages with dashed-edge cards, SKUs and prices; print them for a trade show or send the wholesale flipbook, order form included.

Best for

  • Small-batch treat bakers selling dated packs to independent pet shops
  • Toy and bed brands with case packs and a full size range
  • Suppliers who also sell to grooming salons and vet clinics
  • Cat and dog accessory makers opening their first wholesale accounts
  • Pet brands running a counter display or treat jar program

Pages worth a closer look

Pet Products Catalog — Size / Spec Guide page

Bed fit guide by length, weight and breed

An orange-headed table runs from XS to XL with bed dimensions, pet length, weight and breed examples, from cats and toy breeds up to large retrievers and shepherds. A shop tip suggests putting one bed of each size on the floor so fewer beds come back.

Treat wall offer with a counter jar

A dog holding a ball in its mouth leans over a ledge above an orange −15% starburst and a purple scalloped band. Stocking eight treat lines earns the discount plus a free jar display, a simple way to win space by the register.

The fine print, in six tinted cards

Minimum order, payment, shipping, swaps, the tough-toy promise and price validity each get a pastel card with a paw icon. Below, a “No ruff edges.” recap and an orange 1–2 days badge tell buyers that core lines restock quickly.

Pet Products Catalog — Welcome / About page

Welcome letter for pet shops and groomers

A round photo of a hand offering a paw-shaped biscuit opens a short letter to shops, groomers and vets, signed by the founder in orange script. Three pastel cards underneath sum up the promises: simple recipes, the tough-toy promise and products tested by the office dogs.

Tips

How to sell pet treats, toys and beds to independent shops

Label treats the way shop owners check them

Independent pet shops read the back of the pack before they read the price. List the full ingredients, the guaranteed analysis, calories per treat, pack weight, country of origin and minimum shelf life on arrival. Short ingredient lists and date codes on every pack, as in the sample, answer most questions up front.

Rate toys by chew strength

Shoppers want to know whether a toy will survive their dog. Mark each toy for gentle, moderate or power chewers, give its size relative to the dog, and say whether it has a squeaker or stuffing. A replacement promise, like the 30-day one in the sample terms, lowers the risk of a first order.

Size beds by measurement, not breed alone

Dogs of one breed vary widely, so a bed chart should start with the pet's length from nose to base of tail and its weight, then add breed examples as a shortcut. Give outer and inner dimensions, say whether the cover unzips for washing, and ship beds in size runs so shops can show every size.

Give groomers and vets their own offer

Grooming salons and clinics sell a small, high-margin retail range from the front desk: treats, dental chews, shampoos and brushes. Offer them smaller clinic packs, a separate price list and a named contact, as the sample contact page does, and keep a shorter catalog version just for them.

Win the counter with displays

Treats are an impulse buy, and the space next to the register is the most fought-over shelf in a pet shop. Offer a jar or countertop display with an opening order, build a mixed starter case of popular flavors, and suggest a per-piece retail price if treats will be sold from the jar.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Which pages in the Pet Products Catalog template help shops place an order?

Several. How to Order walks through four steps with the minimum, case packs and ship time; the terms page covers payment, shipping, swaps and the toy promise; the “Questions, fetched” page answers common trade questions; and the contact page lists the trade desk. The wholesale flipbook adds a built-in order form.

Can I show different prices to pet shops, groomers and vets?

Yes. Make a catalog for each group, set its prices with the Discount & Tax tool using a percentage or fixed discount, and share each wholesale flipbook with its own optional password. If you sell on Shopify, the Unlimited plan can import Shopify B2B catalogs with their price lists.

When do pet shops buy holiday treats and toys?

Many independent shops order holiday lines in August and September so stock lands by early November, when gift shopping for pets starts. Halloween toys and costumes are bought earlier still, in midsummer. Put seasonal items in their own section with an order-by date, and keep everyday treats on fast reorder.

How should a pet supply catalog be organized?

Group products the way a buyer restocks: treats and chews first, since they sell through and reorder fastest, then toys, beds, bowls and feeding, and grooming. Split dog and cat items within a section when the range is large, and use the same card layout in every section so case packs and prices are easy to compare.
