About this template

About the Sewing & Quilting template

This sewing supplies catalog template is tidy and friendly. Most titles are centered in Bree Serif, the cover title runs one charcoal line over one indigo line, small periwinkle, indigo and peach squares sit in the corners, and Rubik and PT Sans handle the order-page headings, body text and form labels. Seven pages give the catalog its structure, with a contents page already split into fabrics, threads and yarn, needles and pins, quilting kits, and patterns and books.

Use it when the products should do the talking. Import thread colors, needles, kits and pattern books, then build product pages from the editor's grids, with a one-column line sheet for SKUs that sell by color. A photo version tilts three spool photos on the cover, adds a photo band to the divider and sets the back page on a full-bleed spool photo, while 12 palettes swap the indigo for your own colors. Print it for sewing shows or share it as a flipbook with a built-in order form.

Best for

  • Sewing notions distributors selling needles, pins and thread to stores
  • Fabric shops that also wholesale quilting kits and patterns
  • Pattern and book publishers selling to sewing and quilt retailers
  • Haberdashery suppliers who want a plain, printable order sheet
  • Sewing machine dealers listing feet, bobbins and accessories
Highlights

Pages worth a closer look

Sewing & Quilting — Contents page

Contents for a full sewing range

Five numbered sections with page numbers: fabrics, threads and yarn, needles and pins, quilting kits, and patterns and books. Rename them to fit your range; buyers use this page to jump straight to the department they are restocking.

Sewing & Quilting — Order form page

Order form with indigo rules

A printable sheet with company, contact, PO number and ship-to fields, a ruled table under an indigo header bar for SKU, description, quantity, unit price and line total, and lines for subtotal and shipping. Shop owners can fill it in at a sewing show and hand it straight back.

Sewing & Quilting — Divider page

Collection divider for each department

A large section number and title introduce each part of the sewing catalog with a short paragraph about the collection. Place one before fabrics, one before kits and so on, and a long notions catalog stays easy to navigate.

Sewing & Quilting — Welcome page

Founder's welcome letter

A short letter thanks sewing shop buyers for opening the catalog and introduces the range, signed by the founder. Rewrite it in your own voice, mention what is new this season, and keep it to a few lines so buyers reach the products quickly.

Tips

Sewing supplies catalog tips: specs, packs and kits

Spell out needle and thread specs

Sewing shops answer technical questions all day. List needle type and size (universal, jeans or quilting, 70/10 to 100/16), thread weight and fiber, spool length and color number. Exact specs let staff match products to projects and keep returns down.

Sell notions in counter-ready packs

Pins, needles, bobbins and tape measures sell from pegboards and counter displays. State the pack size, whether items come on hanging cards and how many cards make a case, so the shop knows exactly how a reorder will fit on the wall.

Show kits with finished size and skill level

Quilting and sewing kits sell on the finished project. Give the finished size, the skill level, which fabrics and pattern are included and what the customer still needs, such as batting, backing or thread. A clear photo of the finished piece belongs on every kit card.

Give patterns and books their own section

Patterns sell next to the fabric they use, but buyers order them separately. Give them their own section with format, size range or finished dimensions and a pointer to the fabric bundles that suit them, so one order covers both.

FAQ

Questions about this template

What pages does the Sewing & Quilting template set include?

The sewing set has a cover, a welcome letter, a contents page, a how-to-order page, a section divider, a wholesale order form and a back page with your contact details. There is also a photo version with tilted thread photos on the cover, a photo band on the divider and a full-bleed photo behind the back page. The colors switch with 12 palettes, and product pages are built from the editor's grids.

Can I list thread colors as variants instead of separate products?

Yes. If a thread or fabric comes in many colors, the product card can show a variant table under one product instead of a card per shade. If you prefer a photo for every color, import them as separate products and use a 4 × 4 or 4 × 5 grid.

What should a notions catalog list for each product?

Give the SKU, pack size, case quantity, wholesale price and suggested retail, plus the spec that decides the sale: needle size, thread weight, tape width or zipper length. Add a barcode if your stores scan at the register; EasyCatalog can print one on each product card.

How often should a sewing supplier update its catalog?

Many sewing suppliers publish a main catalog once a year and a shorter update with new fabrics and kits each season. If your products live in Shopify, Sync refreshes prices, stock and photos in the sewing catalog, so the main book stays current between editions.
