About the Sports & Outdoors Premium template
This premium sporting goods catalog template is laid out like a playing field: off-white pages and deep pitch-green panels, several drawn with thin white field lines, court-blue accents, Montserrat headlines over Karla text and Unica One as the accent face. Real photography runs from indoor courts to a lakeside camp. Seven covers lead into twenty designed pages, and the contents page lists five sample sections: Team Sports, Racket & Court, Strength & Fitness, Run & Trail, and Camp & Paddle.
It is written for wholesalers selling to sporting goods stores, clubs and schools. Trade prices with MSRP, case packs, a $500 opening order, Net 30 terms and pre-season booking are already drafted as sample copy you can rewrite. Import a Shopify collection or upload a CSV, and products land on white product pages under a green section band, each with photo, name, a one-line description, SKU and price. Print a 300 DPI PDF for buying meetings, or share a wholesale flipbook where stores order online.

Pages worth a closer look

Ball and apparel size guide
Soccer balls drawn to scale by age group, a balls-by-sport table and team apparel measurements. Buyers order the right sizes the first time, and store staff can answer the questions coaches and parents ask most.

Pre-season booking offer
A full-page pre-book offer: a discount on orders booked by a January deadline, up to three ship dates, prices locked for the season and free freight over a set amount. Change the numbers and the code to match your own booking program.

Featured product with a full spec table
One hero product gets a page of its own, with the wholesale price above an MSRP line, a case-pack badge and a spec column beside the photo. The sample basketball lists size, weight, cover, bladder, channels, inflation and indoor or outdoor use.

Demo Day invitation
An invitation page for a trade demo day, with date, time, venue and show-only pricing. Use it to get buyers onto real courts and fields to test next season's rackets, balls and trail gear before they book.
What to include in a sporting goods trade catalog
Publish booking deadlines and ship windows
Stores plan team-sport inventory a season ahead, so the booking calendar matters as much as the prices. State the booking deadline, the ship dates buyers can choose and whether prices are locked. Put it on the cover band and the terms page, where a buyer checking dates will look first.
List ball sizes by age group, not just by number
A size 5 means little to a parent buying for a nine-year-old. Show the size, circumference and age range for each sport, for example soccer size 3 for under 8, size 4 for ages 8 to 12 and size 5 from 12 up. Store staff answer questions faster when the shelf label matches the catalog.
Show case packs and whether sizes can be mixed
Trade buyers think in cases, not units. Print the case quantity next to every price and say plainly whether sizes and colors can be mixed inside a case. For team apparel, a size run per case pack saves a phone call and stops orders arriving with forty mediums and no smalls.
Give clubs and schools their own terms
Clubs and schools often buy by purchase order, need invoices that match it and order kits per player. Spell out team pricing thresholds, PO and payment terms, and how kits are labeled. A separate terms block for team accounts keeps the retail-store terms simple.
Add care notes that cut returns
Plenty of returns in sporting goods start as care problems: balls inflated past spec, rackets left in hot cars, tents packed damp. A one-page care guide that stores can copy onto shelf cards protects their margin and yours. Keep each tip to one line and one action.

Questions about this template
Can sporting goods stores order straight from the online catalog?
Yes. Share it as a wholesale flipbook and the built-in order form lets buyers pick quantities as they browse. You can set a minimum order value, tiered volume pricing in up to three tiers and minimum, multiple or maximum order quantities. Orders arrive by email and in the app, and the flipbook link comes with a QR code for sales sheets.
Does this template work if my products are not on Shopify?
Yes. Without Shopify you can upload a CSV or TSV file, connect a WooCommerce store, use a Google Shopping or Meta product feed, or type products in by hand. The sample balls, mats and ropes are placeholders, so your own products replace them on the white product pages.
When should a sporting goods wholesaler send its pre-season catalog?
Before the buying window opens, which for team sports is often a season or more ahead: fall sports tend to be booked in winter or early spring, and spring sports the fall before. Give stores at least four to six weeks before your booking deadline, then follow up with a shorter reorder edition once the season starts.
How many products should a sporting goods catalog show per page?
It depends on the job. Hero items such as balls, rackets or a featured shoe read well at two to four per page with specs, while reorder staples like grips, tape or shuttles fit a line-sheet layout with many rows. In EasyCatalog you can mix 2×2 to 4×5 grids, one-column line-sheet rows and mosaic layouts in one catalog.
