About this template

About the Winter Collection template

This winter catalog template is cool, quiet and snowy. Cinzel capitals give the headings a classic engraved look, Raleway handles the details, and steel-blue snowflakes mark each section. The front cover splits into a midnight navy panel with drifting snowflakes and a photo of a woman in a cream chunky cardigan holding winter greenery, the poster cover lines up three narrow snow photos, and frosted fir forests return on the band cover, promo and contact page.

The sample range comes from a fictional knitwear studio working in undyed wool and alpaca: chunky knits, pom hats, felted mittens, snoods and cabin socks. Bring your winter products in and they fill a 3×3 grid on white product pages under a navy section header, with photo, name, SKU and price; fiber and care can go in the description and sizes in a variant table. Share the wholesale flipbook for pre-orders, or print the catalog in A4 or Letter for spring showroom days.

Highlights

Pages worth a closer look

Winter Collection — Front cover page

Split cover with snowflakes and a cream cardigan

A midnight navy column holds the Winter Collection title in Cinzel capitals and a few drifting snowflakes, and the rest of the page is a photo of a cream chunky cardigan and a bundle of greenery. Delivery dates and the pre-order deadline sit low on the navy.

Winter Collection — Cover · poster page

Three-strip snow poster

Three tall photo strips, a snowy field, a figure in a white knit hood with one arm raised and a frosted pine forest, line up above a large navy WINTER. A single snowflake links the photos to the title and the one-line pitch below.

Winter Collection — Promo / Sale page

Restock offer for a second delivery

Over a photo of snow-covered pines, a framed card offers minus 15% on second deliveries added before October 31. It is a practical offer for knitwear, where core colors sell out by December and shops need stock through the holidays.

Winter Collection — Size / Spec Guide page

Knit sizes with fiber and pack

A navy-headed table lists the cable sweater, pom hat, mittens, snood and cabin socks with size, fit, pack quantity and fiber, from wool to alpaca and faux fur. A note covers runs of four for knits, packs of six for accessories and hand-wash care cards.

Winter Collection — Back Cover page

Navy back cover with a snowy portrait

The back cover turns midnight navy, with a round photo of a figure in white knitwear in a snowy wood, snowflakes around it and a simple see-you-next-season sign-off above the trade email and website.

Tips

What knitwear buyers look for in a winter catalog

Name the fiber and where it is knitted

Knitwear buyers price by fiber. Give the blend in percentages, the yarn weight or gauge where it matters, and where each piece is knitted, and say if it is undyed or naturally colored. Shoppers ask these questions at the till, so shops want the answers printed in your catalog and on the care card.

Keep the color story tight

A small palette of three or four shades reorders more easily than a long list. Show every colorway with a swatch, mark which ones are core and always in stock, and keep seasonal colors limited. Buyers can then commit deeper on fewer colors and reorder the core shades through December.

Plan deliveries before the cold arrives

Winter knits and accessories sell from the first cold snap, which can come in October. Ship from early September to mid-November, take pre-orders by late spring, and offer a second delivery for stores that sell through quickly. A restock discount is a good way to fill that second window.

Sell accessories in packs that fit a display

Hats, mittens and scarves sell from baskets, hooks and table stacks. Packs of six per style keep a display full, and mixed-color packs help shops test colors without overbuying. Gift sets that combine a hat, mittens and a snood also make an easy holiday add-on.

Size the small items too

Mittens need hand size, hats need circumference and socks need shoe-size ranges. Put them in one table with the fiber and a care line, and send care cards with each piece. Many wool and alpaca returns come from washing mistakes, so clear care instructions protect the shop as well.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Can the Winter Collection template show fiber content and care details?

Yes. Product pages can show a description field, so blend, gauge and care can sit under the photo, and the knit sizes page already includes a fiber column. Tags can be shown as an extra field too, and for products imported from Shopify, metafields such as material or origin can be added to every product.

Can I offer a second delivery window in this winter catalog?

Yes. The promo page is already written as a restock deal on second deliveries, and the terms page explains delivery windows and split deliveries. Change the dates and the percentage to your own. To show the lower price on each product as well, set it with the Discount & Tax tool before you share the wholesale flipbook.

When should winter accessories ship to stores?

Most shops want winter knits and accessories in store from September to mid-November, ahead of the first cold weather and the holiday rush. That means pre-orders close in late spring and production runs through summer. In-season reorders on core colors are worth offering until about January, while demand lasts.

How many colors should a winter knitwear line offer?

Fewer than most brands think. Three to five colors per style is plenty for independent shops, ideally with one or two core shades that are always available for reorder. A focused palette also photographs better as a set and makes the catalog easier to scan, and trend colors can come as limited runs.
