About the Beauty & Cosmetics template
This beauty lookbook template is a full design kit: seven cover designs, twenty designed pages, a designed product page and mosaic layouts, all with real photography. Spectral serif headlines, Josefin Sans labels and Allura script sit on peach-cream pages with terracotta and cocoa accents, and a soft arc motif shapes the layouts. The covers include a serum issue, a glow poster and a sticker cover.
Sample copy belongs to an invented Lyon lab that sells to stockists, with five collections, testers in every opening order and a first-order minimum. Bring in your range from Shopify, a CSV file or a product feed, and products land on designed pages with shade variants, sizes and prices. Share a wholesale flipbook for stockists, a retail flipbook for shoppers, or print a launch edition.
Best for
- Independent skin care and color cosmetics brands with seasonal launches
- Beauty brands selling to stockists, concept stores and apothecaries
- Makeup lines that need a foundation shade guide in print
- Fragrance and gift set ranges sold alongside skin care
- Brands hosting launch evenings or in-store events
Pages worth a closer look

Foundation and concealer shade guide
Twelve shades are grouped into fair and light, medium and deep, each with a code and a name, followed by an undertone guide for cool, neutral and warm skin. Stockists stop guessing, and shoppers can choose online.

Four-step daily ritual
Cleanse, treat, moisturize and nourish are set out with amounts and timing for morning and night, plus a tip on applying serum to damp skin. Rename the steps and products to sell your own routine.

Hero serum page with texture notes
Your stockists' favorite serum takes a whole page: price, size, a short description, three key ingredients with what each does and a note on texture. Swap in whichever product earns the most reorders.

Magazine cover for a serum issue
A newsstand-style cover with an issue number, cover lines and a barcode turns a product launch into an editorial moment. Rewrite the cover lines for your own launch or season and keep the layout.
What to include in a beauty lookbook
Photograph shades on several skin tones
Color cosmetics sell on how a shade looks on skin. Photograph lipsticks, blushes and bases on several skin tones under the same light, and label every swatch with its shade name and code so buyers can match the page to the product.
List testers and displays as their own lines
Stockists want to know what arrives with an opening order: testers, display units and shelf cards. List them as SKUs with prices, or mark them as included, and say how often testers are refreshed for busy counters.
Time launches to the buying calendar
Many beauty brands present spring and summer color early in the year and gift sets well before the winter holidays. Buyers plan shelf space months ahead, so publish the lookbook with launch and ship dates before your stockists' buying window closes.
Keep every claim plain and provable
Write about the look and feel of skin rather than medical results. If you print claims such as vegan or cruelty-free, be ready to support them with documents, and check the labeling rules in each market you ship to before the edition goes out.

Questions about this template
How is this beauty lookbook template different from a simple catalog set?
It is a full design kit rather than a short page set: seven covers, twenty designed pages, a designed product page and mosaic layouts with real photography. You keep the art direction, swap pictures with Replace photo, and your products fill the designed product pages.
Can I use it for both stockists and shoppers?
Yes. Keep the trade terms and testers for a stockist edition shared as a wholesale flipbook with an order form. For shoppers, make a second catalog without the trade pages and share it as a retail flipbook that checks out at Shopify.
How should a beauty catalog organize products?
Group by routine step or category, such as cleansers, treatments, moisturizers, color and fragrance, with gift sets last. Inside each section lead with bestsellers, then new launches. Shade ranges read better as a swatch grid or a variant table than as one product per shade.
What photos does a beauty lookbook need?
Plan three kinds: clean packshots on a plain background for product pages, close-up texture shots of creams, powders and swatches, and a few mood images for covers and dividers. Keep the lighting consistent across a season so colors match from page to page.
