About the Books & Stationery Premium template
This stationery catalog template is designed around the folded sheet. Page cells halve in size like paper formats, from A5 down to A8, cobalt and navy type sits on blush paper with coral accents, and Domine headlines pair with DM Sans and a mono face for specs and SKUs. Seven covers and 20 designed pages cover notebooks, paper and post, writing tools, planners and gift books, with tinted product pages under a navy header band.
It is set up for selling to independent stationery stores, bookstores and gift shops. Sample products carry their case pack and trade price, the best sellers page adds the RRP (suggested retail) in gray, the ordering pages explain account approval, mixed colors within a case and sample boxes, and the size guide answers the dot, lined or grid question before it is asked. Import notebooks and pens from your store, print the catalog for trade fairs, or send a wholesale flipbook link for reorders.

Formats, rulings and paper weights
Formats from A4 down to A7 are drawn to scale beside a table of millimeter sizes and the lines that use each one, from desk pads to pocket jotters, with plain, lined, dot and grid rulings and four paper weights below. It answers the questions customers ask at the stationery counter.

Featured notebook spec sheet
The feature page lists format, page count, paper weight, ruling, binding, cover material and case pack beside the trade price and RRP, with a row of cover cloth colors. Use it for the notebook your shops reorder by name.

Trade price against RRP
Six best sellers appear with a photo, SKU, case pack, trade price excluding VAT and the RRP in gray, so a buyer sees the margin on each line at a glance and has a short reorder list in one place.

Restock fortnight offer
A two-week promo page for a percentage off every case pack, with a two-case minimum, a code and the dispatch time. Run it after the holidays or before a new season, when shops rebuild their shelves.
What stationery buyers check before they order
Give every notebook its full spec
Stationery buyers compare format, page count, paper weight, ruling, binding and whether the paper is fountain-pen friendly. Put those details in the same order on every product so a shop can compare your A5 dot grid with another maker's in seconds.
Explain formats for US and international buyers
If you sell abroad, give metric formats with millimeters (A5 is 148 × 210 mm) and the nearest US size, and use one unit for paper weight throughout. Buyers in different markets read sizes differently, and a clear size guide prevents wrong orders.
Plan around the stationery calendar
Shops buy planners and diaries in late spring and summer for fall sales, gift sets in early fall for the holidays, and back-to-school stock in spring. Send the main catalog early in the year and a gift and planner update by midsummer.
Let buyers mix colors within a case
Mixed colors inside a case pack lower the risk for a new stockist and put more of your range on the shelf. Say so on the product pages and in the terms, and set quantity multiples in the flipbook to match the case size.
Show the paper, not only the cover
Photograph an open spread with the ruling visible, or add a close-up of the paper, because stationery customers buy the inside. Add one lay-flat shot for sewn notebooks; it is a selling point shops repeat to their own customers.

Questions about this template
What pages does the Books & Stationery Premium template include?
Seven covers, including a magazine-style paper quarterly and a front-flap split cover, and 20 designed pages: welcome, contents, section divider, plate lookbook, featured notebook, bindery story, team, how to order, best sellers, restock promo, stats, trade preview invitation, testimonials, FAQ, size and ruling guide, care and display, contact, trade terms, notes and back cover.
Can the catalog show trade prices without VAT?
Yes. The Discount & Tax tool can show ex-VAT prices, apply a percentage or fixed trade discount and convert with a currency multiplier, and the stationery catalog can use any of 28 currencies. To print the RRP beside each notebook's trade price, keep the RRP as the product price and let the same tool show the trade price as the discount price, or print an RRP stored in a Shopify metafield.
How many notebooks should a stationery line sheet show per page?
When one notebook comes in eight or ten cover colors, a 4 × 4 or 4 × 5 grid fits the whole run on a page with SKU, case pack and price. Pens, gift sets and boxed stationery need a larger photo and a short description, so 2 × 2 or 3 × 3 suits them better, and a one-column line sheet works for short ranges.
When do stationery shops place orders for the holiday season?
Most independent shops order holiday stock between late summer and early fall, with planners and diaries often booked earlier. A trade catalog sent in July or August, followed by a flipbook reminder in September, fits that buying window.
