About the Hunting Premium template
This premium hunting gear catalog template is built around a single day afield. Each section opens at a time stamp, from 04:45 for layering and camo to 10:15 for knives and field gear, and first and last light frame the covers. Stone-gray pages, saddle-brown accents and dark forest green carry Noticia Text headlines, Barlow and a mono for specs. Product pages sit on stone gray under a dark green band, and real photography follows creeks, frosted cover and a retriever at work.
Its placeholder copy addresses independent hunting shops: dealer prices with MSRP in gray, case packs that ship as size runs, a $500 opening order and an early-book program that ships before the season. Import apparel, boots and optics from Shopify or a product feed; each card shows photo, name, a pack note, SKU and dealer price, and variant tables can add sizes. Then print a PDF for the spring buying show or share a password-protected flipbook with your dealers.
Best for
- Hunting apparel and boot brands selling through independent dealers
- Optics, calls and decoy suppliers with seasonal early-book programs
- Outdoor distributors serving feed stores, sporting shops and outfitters
- Sales reps preparing for spring buying shows and dealer visits
- Field-gear makers who want an editorial catalog, not a plain price sheet
Pages worth a closer look

Size, boot and glass guide
Men's apparel by chest, waist and sleeve, boot sizes in US, EU and UK with foot length and wide widths, and guidance on binocular magnification and camo patterns. Dealers can print it for the counter and fit customers right the first time.

Early-book program
Booking opens in January, closes in mid-March and ships in July, with a discount over a set order value, free freight on booked orders and longer payment terms. Because the dates are set as first light and last light, the deadline is hard to miss.

Field care page for the counter
Care steps for leather, glass, blades and wool, each paired with a counter add-on such as boot wax, a lens pen, a honing rod or wool wash with its SKU and price. It helps dealers sell the small items that keep boots and binoculars working.

The day, hour by hour
Five sections listed in the order a hunt unfolds, from dressing in the dark to the walk back out, each with a time on a vertical timeline, a small photo, a one-line summary and a page tag, below a legal-light arc.
What hunting shops need from a dealer catalog
Publish the early-book calendar
Hunting is a short, intense season, and many dealers commit to fall stock in winter or early spring. Show when booking opens and closes, when goods ship, the payment terms for booked orders and any freight incentive. Dealers plan their cash around those dates.
Spec boots the way hunters compare them
List height, upper material, waterproof membrane, insulation weight in grams and sole type for every boot, plus available widths. Insulation weight is a frequent first question, because it decides whether a boot suits early-season walking or late-season sitting.
Explain optics numbers in plain terms
Binoculars are sold on magnification and objective size, such as 10x25 or 8x42, along with field of view at 1,000 yards, eye relief and waterproofing. A short note on when 8x beats 10x, for example in thick timber or low light, helps counter staff recommend the right glass.
Show camo patterns and blaze orange clearly
Customers choose camo by terrain, so show each pattern as a swatch with the terrain it suits. Many states require a minimum amount of blaze orange during certain seasons, so group blaze garments together and state how much coverage each one gives.
Ship apparel and boots as size runs
Dealers want a case that matches how their customers are built. Spell out the size run inside each case pack, for example one S, two M, two L and one XL, and say whether cases can be broken. That avoids back-and-forth and keeps shelves balanced.

Questions about this template
Can I show dealer prices and MSRP on the product pages?
Yes. Keep the retail price as the product price and use the Discount & Tax tool's percentage or fixed discount to print the dealer price as the discount price beside it, or print an MSRP stored in a Shopify metafield. Style the price block once and apply it to the whole catalog, so every product page shows the numbers the same way.
Can I print the hunting catalog for a spring buying show?
Yes. Export a print-ready PDF at up to 300 DPI, use the CMYK Print professional option for an offset or digital printer, and set a bleed of 3 mm or 5 mm with crop marks. Letter, A4 and A5 are supported in portrait or landscape, and the same catalog can also go out as a password-protected flipbook.
When should a hunting gear supplier send its dealer catalog?
Ahead of the early-book window, which for fall lines often runs from January into March. Many dealers set budgets at winter buying shows, so a catalog in hand before the show gets your line onto their list. Follow with an in-season reorder edition in late summer, when boots, socks and blaze orange restock.
How should hunting apparel be sized in a wholesale catalog?
Give chest, waist and sleeve measurements for each size, note regular and tall fits where you carry them, and list boot sizes with widths and US, EU and UK equivalents. Then show how case packs break down by size so a dealer knows exactly what arrives in each carton.
