About the Camping & Hiking Premium template
Ridgeline contours, map grid references and a trade-quarterly voice set the tone for this camping gear catalog template. Its seven covers run from a magazine front with a −5 °C rating callout to a sticker cover that reads pack light, sell out. Kreon headlines, Cabin text and a monospaced face for SKUs sit on warm off-white pages with charcoal type and heather-plum accents. Sample copy is written for a fictional fell-walking supplier in northern England.
It gives independent shops one document to plan a season from: 20 designed pages cover a field-notes lookbook, a spec guide, an early-order page and trade terms. Import tents, sleeping bags and packs from Shopify by collection, or upload a CSV, and they fill white product pages with photo, SKU, type, name, a one-line spec and price; an RRP can come from a Shopify metafield or the description. Print a PDF with bleed for trade shows, and send stockists the wholesale flipbook to order through its built-in form.

Pages worth a closer look

Spec guide for sleeps, degrees and liters
One page compares tent capacity, floor and peak in centimeters, packed weight and season, then charts sleeping-bag temperature ratings and pack volumes by trip length. Shop staff can match a customer to the right tent or bag without calling your sales desk.

Early-order page with a pre-book deadline
Set up as a spring pre-book, the promo page shows a discount off trade, a booking deadline, freight paid on pre-booked pallets and delivery staggered from February to April. Swap in your own terms to secure orders before the season.

Most-reordered lines with trade price and RRP
Four numbered hang-tag cards give each top line a photo, its SKU, a one-line spec such as weight and season rating, the trade price and the recommended retail price. It hands a new stockist an easy first order.

Field notes shot outdoors
Six photos, five of them numbered with short captions, run from a group camp by a lake to a dusk pitch above the water and show the gear where it belongs. Replace them with your own shoots so buyers can picture the range in use.
What to include in a camping gear trade catalog
List the specs shop staff get asked about
For tents, give sleeping capacity, floor size, peak height, packed weight and season rating. For sleeping bags, show comfort and limit temperatures, fill type and weight; for packs, volume in liters and back length. Staff sell from these numbers, so print them next to the price rather than in a footnote.
Open pre-season booking in the winter
Outdoor shops commit to tents and sleeping bags months before camping season. A pre-book window that closes in mid-winter, with a modest discount and delivery spread over early spring, helps buyers manage cash flow and helps you plan production. Put the deadline and the minimum pre-book value on one page.
Show case pack, trade price and RRP on every line
Trade buyers check margin before they order. Give the case pack, trade price and recommended retail price for each product, and state whether prices include tax. Selling abroad? Set the catalog currency and show ex-VAT prices so each buyer sees figures they can use straight away.
Add care advice that shops can pass on
Many complaints about tents and down bags come from damp storage rather than defects. A short care page on drying a fly before packing it away, storing down loose and re-proofing fabric gives shop staff advice to repeat at the counter, and fewer products come back.

Questions about this template
Which pages come with the Camping & Hiking Premium template?
You get 27 pages: seven cover designs, then welcome, contents, a section divider, lookbook, featured product, brand story, team, how to order, best sellers, early-order promo, key figures, an event invite, testimonials, FAQ, spec guide, care and repair, contact, trade terms, a framed notes page and a back cover. Products go on white product pages, and any page can be removed or reordered.
Can stockists order directly from this camping catalog?
Yes. Share it as a wholesale flipbook and buyers order through the built-in form; each order reaches you by email and in the app. You can set a minimum order value, minimum or multiple quantities per product and three volume price tiers. Shopify B2B catalogs with price lists are available on the Unlimited plan.
How many products should a camping gear catalog show per page?
Tents and sleeping bags need room for specs, so two to four per page usually reads well. Small items such as mugs, stoves and cutlery sets can sit twelve or more to a page. EasyCatalog lets you mix grids from 2×2 to 4×5 and one-column line-sheet rows in the same catalog.
When should a camping brand send its trade catalog to shops?
Outdoor buyers usually commit to a season several months ahead. Send the spring and summer catalog in late fall or early winter with an early-order deadline, then a shorter reorder edition once the season starts. For fall and winter ranges, aim for buying appointments early in the year.
