About this template

About the Alpine Outdoor template

A full-page mountain photograph opens this mountain gear catalog template, with OUTDOOR GEAR stacked in tall, condensed Oswald capitals. Inside, forest green and moss tones on pale stone, thin stripes and Open Sans text keep things calm so the photography carries the mood. The other six pages are a welcome, the contents, ordering terms, a divider for each collection, a wholesale order form and a contact page to close, all recolorable with 12 palettes.

Sell a season of mountain gear to shops with your own product pages behind the divider: tents and shelter, packs and bags, trail apparel, camp kitchen and climbing. Pull products from Shopify with filters or from a CSV file, show sizes and colors as variant tables, and print the PDF at up to 300 DPI with bleed. Buyers who prefer screens can order from the wholesale flipbook, with your minimums already in place.

Highlights

Pages worth a closer look

Alpine Outdoor — Cover page

Full mountain photo cover

The whole cover belongs to a mountain photograph, with OUTDOOR GEAR 2026 stacked in tall capitals and your brand name and web address. Use Replace photo for your own peak, or search the free stock library for another range.

Alpine Outdoor — Order form page

Order form for rep visits

Company, PO number and ship-to sit at the top, then item, SKU, quantity and price columns with totals. Reps can complete it with the buyer during a visit and email it to the office the same day.

Alpine Outdoor — Back page page

Back page with contact details

A short thank-you is followed by email, phone, website and a social handle for wholesale inquiries. Long after the catalog goes to the stockroom, this is the page a shop owner keeps by the phone.

Tips

How to present mountain gear to specialty shops

Group gear by activity, not by material

Mountain shops organize their floors by activity: camping, trekking, climbing, apparel. Match your sections to that layout so a buyer can plan a wall or a window from one part of the catalog, and place accessories such as stuff sacks next to the tents they fit.

List climbing gear specs exactly

For ropes, give diameter, length, type (single, half or twin) and whether it has a dry treatment. For harnesses, list sizes and weight; for carabiners, gate type and strength ratings. Specialty buyers check these numbers carefully, and missing ones slow orders down.

Show apparel as a size and color grid

Trail apparel is ordered in size runs. A variant table with sizes across and colors down lets a buyer write a whole style on one line of the order form, and shows any stock gaps before the order goes out.

Choose a cover photo that fits the range

A summit shot suits a climbing or mountaineering range, while a lakeside camp or forest trail fits family camping. Pick an image that matches the products inside, with calm sky or rock at the top where the title sits.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Can I replace the mountain photo on this template?

Yes. Click the photo, choose Replace photo, then upload your own picture, pick a free stock photo or search your product images by name. The other six pages keep their layout, and you can recolor the green palette to match the new photo.

Does the Alpine Outdoor set include an order form?

Yes. The sixth page of the set is a wholesale order form with company, contact, PO number, ship-to, SKU, quantity, unit price and totals, plus your minimum order note. If you share the catalog online instead, buyers order inside the wholesale flipbook, where a minimum order value and case multiples can be set.

What size should a printed outdoor catalog be?

A4 or US Letter portrait suits most wholesale catalogs and fits a rep's bag and a buyer's desk tray. Landscape works for big photography, and A5 for pocket-size editions. Export with 3 mm or 5 mm bleed and crop marks if a printer trims the pages.

How far ahead do specialty outdoor shops buy?

Many place pre-season orders six to nine months ahead, at trade shows or with sales reps, and reorder during the season. Send your catalog before buying appointments start, with order deadlines and delivery windows printed on the terms page.
