About the Labor Day Sale template
This Labor Day sale catalog template is styled like a ticket to the long weekend. The front cover sets the headline on a dashed-edge coupon with a tear line, a sale code and a barcode, below a photo of a table laid for lunch under a tree in a meadow. Condensed Teko headlines, Rubik text, sunset orange and slate navy on a sand-toned page, and a small sun icon tie the pages together, and an orange poster cover leads with a giant 20%.
The sample copy is written for a fictional outdoor gear distributor that wants two things from early September: empty shelves of summer stock and early commitments for fall. The welcome letter, calendar and promo pages make both cases. Import your packs, boots and camp kit and they land on white product pages with SKU and price. Send the flipbook the week before the holiday, and take the PDF on late-August store visits.

Pages worth a closer look

Coupon-style cover with a sale code
The headline sits on a white ticket with a dashed border, a perforation line and a stub holding the extra 20% off, the code and a barcode. A photo of a table laid in a meadow above and a sun icon beside the dates make it read as summer's last weekend.

Stockist letter with three key numbers
A short letter makes the offer in two sentences: clear summer lines now and pre-book fall gear at this year's rates. A strip at the foot of the page repeats the extra discount, the September 7 order-by date and three-day dispatch.

Volume pricing up to Net 45
Four order-value bands run from $400 to $5,000 and over, with the discount, freight and payment terms in each row. An example order of packs, boots and camp-kitchen lines shows a buyer the discount and terms they would get.

Calendar that ends on the holiday
Tiles mark August 29 for the opening, September 7 as Labor Day and the last day to order, and September 10 for the final sale shipments. A tent photo and a line promising dispatch within three working days fill the rest of the page.
How to run a Labor Day trade sale for outdoor gear
Separate clearance from pre-book
A Labor Day catalog does two jobs. Put summer lines on clearance and fall lines open for pre-order in different sections, with different terms: clearance ships now and is final sale, pre-book ships later at a held price. Buyers plan with two budgets, and mixing them on one page confuses both.
List the specs gear buyers compare
Outdoor retailers compare packs by volume in liters, back length, weight and fabric denier, boots by waterproofing, upper material and widths, and optics by magnification and objective size, such as 8×25. Put those numbers beside the trade price so a buyer can choose without asking for a sample.
Show full size runs for footwear
For boots and shoes, list every size and width you stock and suggest an opening size curve, with more mid sizes than extremes. Variant tables show sizes against colors under each product, so a buyer sees the whole run at once and spots which sizes are short.
Mention parts and warranty support
Specialist outdoor stores sell on service. If you stock replacement buckles, laces, poles or straps, say so on the welcome or terms page, along with how warranty claims work. It reassures buyers that clearance gear will not leave them with unhappy customers next spring.

Questions about this template
What does the Labor Day Sale template include?
Fifteen pages: three covers (a coupon-style photo cover, a photo band and an orange poster), a stockist letter, a footwear divider, a featured pack, summer best sellers, a three-tier promo, how to order, trade terms, a contact page with a QR code, a framed blank page, a back cover, a sale calendar and a volume pricing table.
Can I take fall pre-orders through the flipbook?
Yes. The wholesale flipbook's built-in order form collects any order, so buyers can use it for pre-orders as well as clearance lines. State the ship date in the product description or on the terms page, set minimum and multiple quantities for case packs, and confirm each order when it arrives by email or in the app.
When is Labor Day, and when should a trade sale start?
Labor Day is the first Monday of September in the United States, and Canada's Labour Day falls on the same day. A trade sale that opens in the last days of August and closes on the holiday, as in this template, reaches buyers while they review summer sell-through and set fall budgets.
How many products should an outdoor gear catalog show per page?
For packs, boots and tents, where buyers study photos and specs, a 2×2 or 3×3 grid with SKU, price and key specs works well. For accessories such as rope, mugs or hats, a 4×4 or 4×5 grid fits a long list on fewer pages, while one-column line-sheet rows suit lines that need a longer spec. Mixing them keeps the catalog short.
