About the Winter Clearance template
The winter clearance catalog is addressed like a parcel. Its front cover lays a white shipping label over an edge-to-edge photo of winter jackets on a rail, with From and To lines, a snowflake, the markdown, a February ship window and a barcode with a reference number. The poster cover sets the discount inside a giant snowflake. Kreon slab headlines, Source Sans Pro text and Anonymous Pro labels sit on pale ice-blue pages in navy and red, and product cards finish in a full-width price strip.
Use it to tell stockists exactly when winter stock leaves and what it costs to take it. The timeline marks the opening day, a second markdown on boots in mid-February and the last order date, while an early-order code rewards anyone who commits in the first ten days. Import the cold-season range from Shopify or a product feed, list size runs and specs in each description, and send the flipbook link or a print-ready PDF to your retail accounts.

Pages worth a closer look

A shipping label as the front cover
A white label over an edge-to-edge photo of jackets on a rail is addressed from the clearance warehouse to your stockists and retailers, with the headline, a snowflake, the markdown, the ship window and a barcode. Edit the lines to name your own warehouse.

Early-order bonus with a deadline
An extra 10% off orders placed before February 10, with its own code. It pulls the first wave of orders forward while size runs are still complete, and gives buyers a reason not to wait for deeper cuts.

Stock check for every collection
Five bars show what is left in each collection, from boots to optics, with labels such as Almost gone, Selling fast and Good stock. A short line reminds buyers that counts date from printing, so they confirm availability when they order.

Lot list for size runs and case packs
A table prices each lot by contents, units, lot price and price per unit, from boot size runs to binoculars, under the minimum order. Lots ship as listed, so buyers know exactly what will arrive.
What to put in a winter clearance catalog for stockists
Show the size breakdown of every run
Boot and apparel buyers need to know which sizes are left, not only how many pairs. List the sizes in each run, for example US 7 to 12, and mark any gaps. A run missing the two most common sizes is worth less to a store, so price it accordingly.
Give the specs outdoor shoppers compare
List the numbers specialist customers ask about: pack volume in liters, tent capacity and packed weight, boot upper and waterproof membrane, binocular magnification and lens size as in 8×25. Outdoor stores sell on these details, and clearance stock still has to be explained on the shop floor.
Close the clearance by the end of February
Many outdoor retailers take spring deliveries from late February into March, when space gets tight. A winter clearance that ends with February lets stores sell the stock in the last cold weeks, or hold it for next winter at a price that makes the storage worthwhile.
Name the colorway that is ending
When a style continues in a new colorway, make it clear that only the old one is on clearance. Retailers then know they can reorder the style at full price later, and nobody mistakes the clearance price for a permanent price cut.
Reward an early decision
A small extra discount for orders in the first ten days brings orders in while size runs are complete. Pair it with a second markdown later in the month on the slowest category, and print both dates on the timeline so buyers can plan around them.

Questions about this template
What pages come with the winter clearance template?
Sixteen designed pages: a shipping-label front cover, a band cover, a snowflake poster cover, a welcome note from the head of trade, a collection divider, a featured product, best sellers, an early-order promo, a February timeline, a stock check, a lot list, ordering steps, terms, contact, a framed notes page and a back cover. Product pages for your own range follow.
Can I print the winter clearance catalog for a trade show?
Yes. For a stand handout, choose A4, Letter or A5 in portrait or landscape and export the PDF at up to 300 DPI; a print shop will usually ask for the CMYK Print professional setting plus 3 or 5 mm of bleed with crop marks. Print the flipbook's QR code on the back page or a counter card, and visitors who skip the queue at the stand can scan it and order once they are back in their store.
When should winter stock go on clearance?
For most cold-weather categories, January and February. Wait longer and retailers have no selling season left, so they must store the goods until next winter and will pay less. Start before the holidays and you cut into full-price sales. A February window with a firm end date sits between the two.
Should clearance boots and outerwear be sold in full size runs?
Usually, yes. Retailers want a run they can merchandise, often one of each size or a ratio weighted toward the middle sizes. Broken runs, where the common sizes have gone, can still sell to outlet and off-price stores, but list them as separate lots at a lower price and name the sizes included.
