About the Vineyard & Cellar template
A split cover opens this winery catalog template: a cream panel with the title in Playfair Display, a burgundy rule, and a full-height photo of a hand cupping a grape cluster on the vine. Thin rules and Raleway and Lato text keep the inside pages calm. Behind the cover come a welcome letter, contents, ordering terms, a collection divider topped with a grape-cluster photo, a wholesale order form and a full-bleed vineyard back page.
Wines are laid out on product pages built from the editor's grids, from a roomy 2×2 for a short estate range to 4×5 or line-sheet rows for a distributor's full book. Connect Shopify and import a collection, or upload a CSV or TSV file, then put vintage notes in the description and case sizes in variants. Recolor with one of 12 palettes, print with crop marks and bleed, or send a flipbook with its order form built in.

Pages worth a closer look

Split harvest-photo cover
A cream title panel sits beside a full-height vineyard photo, joined by a burgundy rule. Swap the harvest shot for your own vines, cellar or bottles with Replace photo, or pick a free stock photo, and the layout holds.

Contents from reds to glassware
Red wines, white wines, rosé and sparkling, gift sets and glassware come set up with page numbers, in the order buyers usually read a wine list. Adding a section for spirits or library releases is a quick text edit.

Trade order form for case orders
Restaurants and shops can order by the case on a printed sheet: fields for company, contact, PO number and delivery address sit over a table for each wine's quantity, unit price and line total. For online orders, the wholesale flipbook has its own built-in form.

Collection divider with a vineyard photo
Each collection opens with a grape-cluster photo, a large number and a short introduction. Use it to describe a vineyard block, a grape variety or a vintage before its wines appear.
What trade buyers expect from a winery catalog
Have a tech sheet behind every wine
Distributors and sommeliers expect technical details: grape composition, vineyard or appellation, harvest dates, alcohol, residual sugar, oak regimen and cases produced. Put the essentials in each product description and keep the full tech sheet ready to send. It saves the follow-up email that every new listing otherwise triggers.
Quote prices the way the trade buys
Say whether prices are per bottle or per case, ex-cellar or delivered, and whether duty and taxes are included. Note case sizes and any mixed-case rules. In three-tier markets, distributor and retail margins are added on top, so a clear starting price helps every buyer down the chain.
Show production size and library stock
Small-production and library wines sell on scarcity. Print the number of cases made for limited bottlings, the older vintages you still hold and whether they are allocated. Buyers choosing wines for a printed list need to know a wine will still be there when the menu is reprinted.
Plan gift sets early
Corporate gift buyers often settle holiday orders in October and November. Give gift sets and glassware their own section with pack contents, gift-box options, message cards and the last order date for delivery before the holidays. A separate holiday flipbook keeps the main trade list uncluttered.
Check shipping and labeling rules
Wine shipping rules differ by state and country, and some buyers cannot receive direct shipments. Note where you ship, who handles delivery in each market and the legal purchase age. Keep alcohol and allergen statements consistent with your labels, since buyers often copy catalog details straight onto their menus.

Questions about this template
Can I replace the grape-harvest photo on the cover?
Use Replace photo on the cover image to upload your own vineyard, cellar or bottle shot, or choose one of the free stock photos. The split layout, burgundy rule and Playfair title stay in place, and the whole set can be recolored with one of 12 palettes to match your labels.
Can restaurants and shops order wine from this catalog online?
Online ordering runs through the wholesale flipbook: buyers open your link, fill in the built-in order form, and the order reaches you by email and in the app. You can set a minimum order value, case multiples of 6 or 12 and up to three volume tiers. For consumer sales, a retail flipbook checks out through your Shopify store instead.
How many wines should a winery catalog include?
Everything you can supply during the period the catalog covers, with a concise listing for each. Small estates often show 8 to 20 wines with full notes, while distributors may list hundreds in line-sheet rows. Separate current releases from library and limited wines so buyers can see what is reliably available.
What time of year do restaurants and shops plan their wine buying?
Two windows matter most. Many restaurants and retailers set fall and holiday lists from late summer, and spring lists in late winter as new white and rosé vintages are released. Send the full catalog before those windows and a short flipbook update whenever a new vintage or allocation arrives.
