About the End of Summer Sale template
The end of summer sale catalog opens on a golden photo of two beach chairs facing a calm sea, with end of written in Kalam handwriting and Summer set large in Bree Serif across the sky. Below the photo, Sale appears in raspberry red beside a round was-and-now sticker. The poster cover is a tear-off desk calendar showing the last day of the sale. Muli body text, peach and plum accents and dashed shipping-label product cards on white keep the inside soft and warm.
It suits suppliers who sell a seasonal list and want it gone before fall stock arrives. The pages walk a trade buyer through the offer: a note from the head of trade, a featured wine with tasting notes, a mixed-case discount, the date of the final sparkling allocation and cellar storage terms. Import the wines from Shopify or a CSV file with vintage and bottle size in the title, set case multiples in the wholesale flipbook and send the link to your accounts.

Pages worth a closer look

Tear-off desk calendar poster
The poster cover shows the closing date on a tear-off calendar page, with a was-and-now sticker pinned to its corner and the offer underneath. It turns the deadline into the headline, which suits a sale built around one last order date.

Featured wine with tasting notes
One wine gets a large photo with a hanging price tag, three tasting notes, SKU, case pack, cases in stock and a stock-left meter. A take-the-lot box prices ten cases, and two more wines appear under Also clearing.

Mixed-case discount
An extra 5% off every mixed case of six summer wines, with a code and an end date. Mixed cases let a restaurant try three or four wines without committing to a full case of each.

Collection divider with now-and-was prices
The divider opens a section with a big number, a short description, a barrel photo in a tag-shaped frame and three products with their prices, two of them as now and was. The sample introduces the last reds on the summer list; duplicate it for every category you are clearing.
Tips for an end of summer wine and drinks clearance
Clear rosé while its vintage is current
Rosé is mostly drunk young, and buyers start asking for the new vintage in spring. Late summer is the natural moment to clear the current rosé and light whites, while restaurants still have warm evenings to pour them. Show the vintage on every line so nobody is surprised by the label.
List vintage, bottle size and case size
Trade buyers compare wine by vintage, bottle size and case format, usually six or twelve bottles. Put all three in the title or description, along with the price per bottle and per case, so a buyer can check a clearance price against their wine-list margins in seconds.
Offer sparkling as a final allocation
Sparkling wine sells most during the year-end holidays, so many buyers are glad to stock up in late summer at a lower price. Present it as a final allocation with a cut-off date rather than an open discount, and cap quantities per order so the stock spreads across accounts.
Check the rules on alcohol pricing
In some markets, including several U.S. states, wholesale alcohol prices must be filed or posted in advance, and quantity discounts or mixed-case deals can be restricted. Check the rules where you sell before you print promo codes or volume offers in a trade catalog.
Say how the wine was stored
Wine that sat in a warm warehouse all summer is a risk, and experienced buyers will ask about it. State the storage conditions, such as temperature-controlled since release, and offer a sample bottle on larger orders. It costs little and removes the main objection to clearance wine.

Questions about this template
What does the end of summer sale template include?
Three covers (a sunset front cover, a band cover and a desk-calendar poster) and thirteen inside pages: welcome note, collection divider, featured wine, best sellers, mixed-case promo, last-call timeline, stock check, lot list, ordering steps, cellar terms, contact, a framed notes page and a back cover. Your product pages follow.
Can I make buyers order full cases only?
Yes. In the wholesale flipbook you can set minimum, multiple and maximum quantities, so a wine packed in sixes can only be ordered in sixes. Add a minimum order value for the whole order, like the sample's $360, and up to three volume price tiers for larger accounts. Orders arrive by email and in the app.
Why do wine merchants run an end of summer sale?
To clear seasonal wines before fall and holiday stock arrives. Rosé, light whites and some sparkling sell fastest in warm months, and a new rosé vintage arrives each spring, so leftover cases lose appeal month by month. A short last-call sale in late August frees cellar space and cash for the holiday season.
How long should a trade clearance wine list be?
Short enough to read in one sitting and long enough to build a few mixed cases from. Group the wines by style, as the template's five sections do, and put the lines with the most stock first in each group. Odd leftover bottles are easier to sell as one mixed lot than listed one by one.
