About this template

About the Watches Catalog template

This luxury watch catalog template sets warm gold and soft white type on charcoal pages, with Spectral serif headlines, Barlow for running text and IBM Plex Mono for specifications. The front cover crops a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals edge to edge. Inside, macro shots of gears and open movements, round photo thumbnails and thin gold frames repeat across 16 pages, and the product pages stay dark so steel cases and leather straps read clearly.

The content follows how a dealer program runs: a request for allocation, a six-piece opening order across mixed references, a five-year warranty registered at the point of sale and seasonal discounts that step up at 6, 12 and 24 pieces. Import references from Shopify, with case size and power reserve as Shopify metafields, or from a product feed to fill the dark product pages. Print the PDF for dealer days, and send authorized stores a password-protected wholesale flipbook with its order form.

Best for

  • Watch brands supplying authorized dealers with seasonal allocations
  • Watchmakers presenting dress, automatic, chronograph and pocket references
  • Fine watch distributors who need a reference book with dealer prices
  • Strap and accessory makers who sell to watch boutiques and jewelers
  • Heritage brands that want the workshop story told beside the prices

Pages worth a closer look

Watches Catalog — Front cover page

A dial cropped to fill the cover

A white enamel dial with black Roman numerals runs off the top edge of the charcoal front cover, above the title and a small mono-type column for regulation, warranty and opening order. The band cover pairs gears with a mesh-bracelet watch, and the poster shows a leather-strap watch on a wrist in a dark jacket.

Watches Catalog — Size / Spec Guide page

A reference book of specifications

One table compares every reference by case diameter, caliber, retail price and dealer price, with a note that prices exclude taxes and duties. An at-a-glance strip repeats the warranty, the opening order and where service happens. Add columns for water resistance or lug width if your dealers ask for them.

Watches Catalog — Promo / Sale page

Seasonal allocation in three steps

The offer page sets a headline 8 percent off dealer prices, then three order sizes at 4, 6 and 8 percent, adding a lit window display at twelve pieces and priority on limited references at twenty-four. A short note explains that limited references are allocated separately.

Watches Catalog — Notes / Terms page

Dealer terms that include the warranty

Six short blocks set out the opening order, the allocation rule, payment, a five-year international warranty registered by the dealer, after-sales service handled by the workshop and price validity. Dealers can see where their responsibilities start and stop before they sign.

Watches Catalog — Event / Launch page

A dealer day inside the workshop

A full-day invitation shows date, hours and place under a dark watch photo, with a line about assembly, regulation and the season's new references. Use it for a dealer day, a launch at a trade fair or a training session for sales staff.

Tips

What authorized watch dealers expect in a brand catalog

List the specifications customers ask about

At a watch counter the questions are about case diameter, thickness, movement type, power reserve, water resistance, crystal and strap width. Give these on every product in the same order, with a reference number dealers can quote. Lug width matters as well, because many customers buy a second strap during the same visit.

Make the allocation rule public

When demand for a reference exceeds supply, dealers want to know how pieces are shared out: by order date, by sell-through or by account tier. Write the rule on the terms page and keep allocated references out of general discounts, so long-standing dealers never feel undercut by newer accounts.

Explain warranty registration and service

A warranty that starts on the day of sale and is registered by the dealer protects both sides: the customer gets full coverage and the brand knows which store sold the watch. State how registration works, typical service times and who pays shipping when a watch goes back to the workshop.

Photograph every family on the wrist

A dial shot alone hides how large a watch really is. Add at least one wrist photo per family, put the case diameter in the caption and keep the lighting consistent so steel, gold and black finishes compare honestly. Dealers reuse these pictures in their windows and social posts.

Confirm holiday orders by early autumn

For many watch retailers the last weeks of the year bring a large share of annual sales. Ask dealers to confirm seasonal orders by September or early October so stock arrives in early November, and keep a short reorder window open for the references that sell through in December.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Which pages are in the Watches Catalog template?

Sixteen designed pages: three covers, a letter from the workshop, a collection divider, a featured reference, a page of the most allocated references, a seasonal allocation offer, how to order, dealer terms, a workshop contact page, a framed blank page, a back cover, a brand story timeline, a specifications table and a dealer day invitation. Your watches sit on charcoal product pages in the same style.

Can I show case size, movement and strap options for each watch?

Yes. Product pages can print SKU, price, description, barcode and Shopify metafields, so case diameter, movement, power reserve or water resistance can appear under each photo. Strap or dial options can come in as variants and show as a variant table. Grids run from 2×2 up to 4×5, and one-column line-sheet rows suit a dense dealer price list.

What does allocation mean in the watch trade?

Allocation is how a brand shares out references that are in short supply. Instead of filling every order in full, the brand decides how many pieces each dealer receives, often based on order history, sell-through and display commitment. Catalogs for allocated lines usually say which references are allocated, how to request them and how long a confirmed piece is held.

How much detail should a watch catalog give about the movement?

Enough for a salesperson to explain the price: whether it is automatic, hand-wound or quartz, the caliber name, power reserve, how it is regulated and what the case back shows. Collectors notice these details, and they also separate a well-finished movement from a cheaper one that looks similar from the dial side.
