About this template

About the Diwali template

This Diwali catalog template pairs deep purple with saffron orange and marigold yellow, using Rozha One headlines and Poppins text. On the front cover, a rangoli mandala in pink, orange and teal rings a round photo of a lit diya, a marigold garland hangs across the top and small diya icons line the foot. The poster cover sets a row of lit lamps above a saffron block with Diwali in large purple letters, and arched photo frames run through the inside pages.

Its sample copy is written for a fictional festive goods wholesaler selling hand-painted clay diyas, brass lamp plates, marigold garlands and rangoli color sets. Add your products and they appear on purple product pages with saffron price tags. Pack sizes such as diyas by the fifty and garlands by the bundle sit on the pricing page, and the wholesale flipbook takes festival orders and reorders through its order form.

Diwali — Collection Divider page

Marigold garland divider

A purple panel carries a large saffron 02 and the Marigold Garlands title, with one line on hand-strung garlands and door torans sold by the meter or in display packs. A close photo of orange marigold strands fills the right side.

Diwali — Featured Product page

Featured brass diya plate

Labeled Festival bestseller, the page pairs a photo of clay lamps on brass plates, the nearest one lit, with the $14.60 trade price, a $32 retail price and a case of six. Bullets list the 30 cm brass plate, seven hand-painted diyas and a gift box with a window.

Diwali — Promo / Sale page

Festival of savings coupon

Under a photo of diyas glowing in the dark, a purple ticket-shaped coupon gives 10% off festive orders and the code. The line below adds free rangoli stencils with every hamper case for orders placed before September 10.

Diwali — Event / Launch page

Festival order dates on a lunar calendar

Strands of yellow marigolds fill the top photo, and three tiles mark September 10 for reservations, September 26 as the order-by date for festival delivery and October 24 for the last reorders. The intro notes that the festival follows the lunar calendar, so the order-by date moves with it each year.

Diwali — Size / Spec Guide page

Pack sizes from diyas to hampers

Discounts run from 5% on $250 orders to 15% and Net 45 from $3,000, with free freight from $700. The pack list sells clay diyas fifty to a pack, garlands in bundles of 24, rangoli sets twelve per case and hampers six per case.

Tips

How to plan a Diwali wholesale catalog

Follow the festival date every year

Diwali moves with the lunar calendar and usually falls between mid-October and mid-November, with Navratri and Dussehra a few weeks earlier. Set reservations, order-by and reorder dates from each year's festival; the sample's September 26 order-by date sits six weeks before Diwali on November 8, 2026. Refresh the calendar page every season.

Describe each diya completely

Say whether a diya is plain clay, hand-painted, brass or a tealight holder, whether it comes with a wick, oil or wax, and how many come in a pack. Clay chips easily, so explain how diyas are packed and how breakage is credited. Shops sell faster when staff can answer these questions.

Build hampers at clear price points

Diwali is a major gifting season for families and businesses, and hampers are bought by budget. Offer a few clearly separated tiers, list what each hamper holds, and give the minimum quantity for bulk or corporate orders. Free extras such as rangoli stencils make a case easier to say yes to.

Sell rangoli colors as ready kits

Shoppers buying rangoli want everything in one box. State the number of colors, the weight per color and whether stencils or a tray are included, and say what the powders are made from. Floor stickers and stencils suit customers without time for freehand designs, so list them alongside the kits.

Keep reorders quick in festival week

Diyas, garlands and tealights sell out in the last days before Diwali. Keep core lines in stock, publish a reorder cut-off, and promise a turnaround buyers can plan around; the sample ships festival reorders within 48 hours. If you sell fresh marigolds, schedule them close to the date and say so.

FAQ

Questions about this template

What is included in the Diwali catalog template?

Sixteen pages: a rangoli cover, a band cover of lit diyas and a saffron poster cover, then a welcome letter, a marigold garland divider, a featured brass diya plate, best sellers, a festival offer, ordering steps, trade terms, a contact page with a QR code, a framed blank, a Happy Diwali back cover, a festival lookbook, an order calendar and trade pricing. If you are not on Shopify, a Free plan catalog holds up to five pages, watermarked.

Can I use the Diwali template for a retail store instead of wholesale?

Yes. Replace the trade terms with delivery and returns information, turn the festival offer into a customer discount and remove the trade pricing page. Shopify stores can share it as a retail flipbook that checks out at Shopify, while others can share a showcase flipbook or a print-ready PDF.

When should Diwali stock reach stores?

Two to four weeks before the festival, and earlier for stores that also sell for Navratri. Because Diwali usually lands between mid-October and mid-November, most wholesale orders are placed in August and September. Plan a short reorder window for fast sellers such as diyas, tealights and garlands in the final weeks.

What products do shoppers buy for Diwali?

Diyas and candles, string lights, rangoli colors and stencils, marigold garlands and torans for doorways, puja thalis and brass items, and gift hampers of sweets and dry fruit. Many families also buy new clothes and home decor. A wholesale range that covers lighting, decoration and gifting lets one store order everything in a single order.
