About this template

About the Personalized Products Premium template

This personalized gifts catalog template looks like a letterpress proof sheet. Libre Baskerville headlines, DM Sans text and Allura script sit on warm paper tones with deep green accents, and type-specimen marks for cap height, x-height and baseline appear on a cover and the stats page. Monogram blocks show first, last and middle initials in place, and the seven covers include a magazine issue about the monogram.

The words on the pages belong to a fictional Providence engraving studio with five collections: Leather Goods, Wood & Table, Jewelry, Embroidery and Paper & Seals. Your own pieces arrive by Shopify import or CSV upload and fill product pages of blush tiles with photo, name, a short description and price. Share the retail flipbook for holiday gifting, or print copies for markets, where the personalization guide answers questions before anyone orders.

Best for

  • Engraving, embossing and embroidery studios selling made-to-order gifts
  • Shops that offer monograms on leather, wood, jewelry and linens
  • Holiday and wedding gift sellers who need clear character limits
  • Makers who send a digital proof before production
  • Gift shops adding an engraving service to existing products
Highlights

Pages worth a closer look

Personalized Products Premium — Size / Spec Guide page

Personalization guide with limits per piece

Three lettering styles are shown side by side, then a table lists each piece with its engraving area, maximum characters and method, such as blind or foil deboss. Customers can see what fits before they type a name.

Personalized Products Premium — How to Order page

Four steps to an approved proof

Choose a piece, add the words and a lettering style, approve the digital proof, and the piece is made and shipped. Printing the proof step in the catalog sets expectations about timing and spelling from the start.

Personalized Products Premium — Featured Product page

Featured wallet with initials mocked up

The wallet page mocks up sample initials in place and lists the engraving area in inches, material, size and price, plus a note that personalization is included. It answers the what-will-it-look-like question at a glance.

Personalized Products Premium — Notes / Terms page

Plain-language terms for made-to-order gifts

Short numbered notes cover proofs, double-checking names and dates, the final-sale rule for personalized pieces and what happens if the studio makes a mistake. Clear terms help avoid the usual disputes over custom work.

Tips

What to include in a personalized gifts catalog

Print character limits for every item

Text that does not fit is a frequent cause of remakes. List the engraving area and maximum characters for each piece, show how initials are arranged, and give one or two examples using names of realistic length so customers can check their own.

Show lettering styles at real size

A script that looks elegant on a wallet can be hard to read on a small pendant. Show each lettering style on an actual product photo, note the minimum size for script, and say which engraving or stitching methods each style works with.

Explain the traditional monogram

In a traditional three-letter monogram the last-name initial sits larger in the middle, with the first and middle initials on either side. Many buyers do not know this, so show an example and ask for initials in the order you will set them.

Set holiday cut-off dates early

Personalized items need proofing and production time, so their order deadlines come earlier than those for stock gifts. Print the last order date for holiday delivery, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, and suggest a gift card for anyone who misses it.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Does the personalized gifts catalog template explain lettering and character limits?

Yes. Its personalization guide shows three lettering styles and a table with each piece's engraving area, maximum characters and method. The ordering page explains the proof step, and the terms page covers spelling checks and returns. Change the figures to match your own machines and materials.

Can I show personalization options as product variants?

Yes. Product pages can display variants and variant tables, for example sizes against colors or finishes, alongside description, price and SKU. Mention lettering style or thread color in the description, and keep the full rules on the personalization guide page.

How long should personalized orders take?

Many studios quote production time from proof approval rather than from the order date, because nothing can start until the customer signs off. A few business days after approval is common for engraving, while embroidery and hand work often take longer. Print both figures and your holiday cut-offs.

Should prices include personalization?

Including personalization in the price keeps checkout simple and avoids surprise add-ons, and many studios work that way. If you charge extra for a second line, a script style or a gift box, list those prices in the guide so the total is clear before anyone orders.
