About the Textiles & Fabrics template
This textile catalog template has an earthy, natural-fiber feel. Soft circles in blush and sage drift off the page edges, most headings pair a light and a bold weight of Bitter in warm brown and clay terracotta, Cabin heads the two order pages, and Source Sans Pro handles the details. The sample contents is arranged the way fabric buyers think: cotton and linen, wool and knits, silks and sheers, upholstery, and prints and patterns.
Seven pages give your fabric range a finished frame: cover, welcome note, contents, ordering terms, a section divider, a wholesale order form and a back page. Your cloths go in between on product pages built from the editor's grids, with room for composition, width and price on each card. Choose the clean version or the photo version, with three textile photos across the cover, two over the divider and one behind the back page, recolor it with 12 palettes, and send a print PDF or an orderable flipbook.

Pages worth a closer look

Two-weight serif cover
The title is set in two weights of Bitter, with Fabrics in bold terracotta under a lighter first line, and soft circles at the corners. Replace the words with your mill or company name and the season.

Contents sorted by fiber
Five sections run from cotton and linen to prints and patterns, each with a page number. Fabric buyers often look for fiber first and pattern second, so this order helps them find the right quality quickly.

Order form for cut lengths and rolls
Company, contact, PO number and delivery address go at the top of the fabric order form, then a table for item or SKU, description, quantity, unit price and line total, with subtotal and shipping below. Write meters or yards in the description column so cut orders are clear.

Minimums and delivery, stated up front
The how-to-order page explains how to send a fabric order, the opening and reorder minimums, and delivery and returns. Edit the figures to your own minimum cut or roll quantity before the catalog goes out.
How to describe fabrics for trade buyers
Describe each cloth the way a cutter needs it
For each fabric give fiber content, weave or knit, weight, usable width and whether it is pre-shrunk. Dressmakers and upholsterers plan cutting layouts from these numbers, and a catalog that leaves them out gets a phone call instead of an order.
Sell knits with stretch and recovery details
Knit buyers need the stretch percentage in each direction, how well it recovers and whether the edges curl. Add the intended use, such as T-shirts, activewear or baby clothes, so shops can match the cloth to the patterns their customers sew.
Keep prints and solids apart
Solids are reordered steadily, while prints are bought by collection and often sell out. Give prints their own section with repeat size and colorways, and keep solids on a compact line sheet so the reorder pages stay short.
State roll lengths and cutting charges
If you sell by the roll, give its typical length; if you cut, give the minimum cut and any cutting charge. Put both in the ordering terms and repeat them on product cards where they differ, for example on heavy upholstery or fine silks.

Questions about this template
What's in the Textiles & Fabrics template set?
The textile set has a cover, welcome letter, contents by fiber, how-to-order page, collection divider, wholesale order form and back page. In the photo version, three textile photos run across the top of the cover, two head the divider and one fills the back page, while the other four pages stay the same. The soft-circle design takes any of 12 palettes, and your fabric pages are added between them from the editor's product grids.
Can product pages show width, weight and composition?
Yes. Product cards can show the description, SKU, price, vendor, type, tags and Shopify metafields, so width, gsm and fiber content can come from your description or metafields. Style one fabric card and apply the look to the page or the whole catalog.
How should a textile catalog be organized?
Group fabrics by fiber or end use first, such as cotton and linen, wool, silks and upholstery, then by weight or pattern within each section. Open each section with a divider, put specs on every card, and keep the order form at the back where buyers expect it.
Is a printed or an online catalog better for selling fabric?
Use both. Fabric is chosen by touch, so a printed catalog sent with swatches works for showroom visits and trade fairs, while an online flipbook lets buyers check details and reorder between visits. EasyCatalog makes both from one textile catalog: a print PDF up to 300 DPI and a shareable flipbook link.
